Yeah, I know the clause is there. But like I said, I think he's more likely to pay him off.

Not only that but would Valuev actually want to fight him again? He'd have to come over to the UK, be on the wrong end of the purse, and lose again. Valuev is done at any kind of serious level as far as I can see.

Who knows. It's the WBA, anything could happen. Wouldn't put it past them to make a title up and have Valuev fight for it just to keep him happy, then Haye can fight who he wants.

If you look at the list of WBA champs and rankings not that many have actually made a mandatory defence.

    Sad but true.

If he doesn't get a fight against a K brother next it will only be because he is being forced into a defense against Valuev. He's talking about an October date which should mean the Klitschko's upcoming bouts aren't an issue. He's also going on about retirement in 18 months still and I honestly can't see him going without fighting at least one of them which means it will have to happen soon.

Who can see Haye/Chagaev but Chagaev has to pull out due to a virus at the las minute, and A-Force gets his shot

:huh Strangest comparison I've seen for a while.

Chagaev is nothing like Ruiz. He's a southpaw, Ruiz is orthodox. Ruiz is a come forward aggressive/inside mauler. Chagaev is a cagey counterpuncher.

I think he should fight the winner of Arreola - Adamek, or maybe a Tony Thompson.

we have to be realistic. It certainly seems Valuev/Hopkins are the most likely options at this point which is disappointing. Valuev having an automatic rematch clause and Hopkins shares the same promoter and the potential fight would be in America on HBO.

We know Wlad will be fighting Povetkin in the summer or fall cause it will be going to purse bid again. so he's out.

Vitali or like you said the Arreola/Adamek winner are the most exciting matchups.

Thompson, Chambers, Chagaev are certainly good fighters but lack the name recognition.

I hope Haye doesn't fight valuev. They should just pay him to go away for awhile so we can see some explosive matchups.

He will not be fighting Hopkins and I hope that Valuev fades into insignificance. The next few monthswill be telling and I'm really interested to see what the next move is.
