    That was in another era.

People love Bernard Hopkins. And most of his fights are like pulling teeth to me.

He's loved, yet most of his fights involve him constantly clinching and cheating with headbutts, and shots to the back of the head.

People complain about Wlad using the clinching for defence, yet BHop uses it for offence. :-(

Froch Euro + white yet US cares about his fight same with Kessler because there exciting fighters who fight good opponents

Wlad is boring to watch, Is allowed to cheat constantly K2 offer contracts that stop them getting the best opponents, Then fight bums

Only people who seem to care about race are klittards

If the Klitschko's were American, they'd be treated no different to people like Andre Ward.

Celebrated by a few Americans, not really known by the majority, only they'd be pretty much ignored in Europe too.

I'm sick of this 'The Klitschko's only fault is that they're not from america'.

The poll result reveals the real reason for most of the Klitschko-bashing.

You can't change people's feeling about the K brothers. Like any fighter, either you are a joy to watch, or and eye sore. True boxing fans appreciate the brothers. What else needs to be done on behalf of the K brothers?

First off, not everyone loves Hop, but they appreciate him because of how he has fought in big fights. Against Tarver, Pavlik, and Cloud, he didn't have to fight dirty and people loved those wins. They didn't love Hop when he was fighting Cal and Dawson.

Second, Hop has his moments when he fights dirty, but Hop is a master technician. Third, Wlad being ko'd while long ago is something people remember.

And lastly, when the hvw champ constantly clinches, it turns people off imo. If you think about past hvw champions, how many of them clinched a lot. I'm not talking just about another belt holder. I'm talking about thee man?

There is nothing that can be done about how Americans view Wlad other than they respect him, they just don't know him. He's not from here. Lennox wasn't always loved until he got revenge and then reigned. But boxing is funny. Lennox beat Vitali yet Vitali was the one cheered even though he was damn near blinded by Lennox.

Not to mention Ali was a master clincher, mostly on D like Wlad uses it.

Yet for most fans on here that hate Wlad and call him "boring" have wet dreams about Ali  Talk about double standards :-(

That isn't a double standard, and Ali was not a clincher.

    You're f'n delusional :patsch

Tell that to Ken Norton, who was quoted as saying "Ali has a new style - holding". And it wasn't just vs Norton. Ali was a chronic, master clincher, pulling fighters necks down, etc.

Look, we will probably go on and on, back and forth disagreeing. You think Ali was a chronic clincher whatever, and still the world loved him when he fought. Wlad is a chronic put his chest on the back of your head, hold and hit guy, and the world doesn't even know Wlad. Color is nowhere near how these guys are viewed.

Ali was a politcal activist for the entire world, not just America. Lennox, Holy, Holmes all did it with their fists, and they did it against good comp. People don't see the K brothers being challenged which is why they are not interested imo.

You can't use Ali's clinching as an example of why people loved Ali more than they love Wlad today. America isn't the problem. That's more of a complex that you have towards Americans. You're looking for someone to blame, and color nor American fight fans are the problem.
