If the Kostya Tszyu vs Zab Judah Rematch would have happened?

I don't see Judah winning. Tszyu was good against lefties, effective at getting the timing down so he could land that straight right hand. Despite having immense physical talents, Zab is somewhat of a mental midget. Once Tszyu adjusts and starts landing his shots, Zab would either fall apart mentally or simply not have the right tactics to re-adjust and would lose again.

Zoo had worked out Zab by the end of the first round. From then on it didn't matter if they rematched 100 times, Zab would have been beaten each and every time.

 

As Rushman said, it took Tszyu all of a round to figure out Judah. Plus, in the rematch, Zab would have been terrified of a repeat of the first fight and would have fought scared, maybe surviving the fight, but losing a decision based on his running tactics.

was it that tszyu figured him out or was it that judah stopped throwing and let tszyu into the fight?

i remember seeing a clip of judah telling his old man how 'easy' the fight was after round 1....

we all know judah is flawed but tszyu wasn't a complete fighter either.

imagine if you took the best qualities of both men and put them together. **** me!

i've seen that, as everyone has, and you can link it all night if you like.
just like you can link marquez - pacman round 1 or cotto - torres round 2, and who would have argued if cotto was stopped by the ref in that fight?

i'd pick tszyu again if the fight went ahead, but the point is that neither of these guys ever hit the highest level of boxing so i'd be as interested in a rematch as the next person.

 

Judah had the fear deep in his heart after that.

He would never have turned up mentally to rematch Tszyu.
