If the Pierre had scored the fight 115-113 Williams, would you be complaining at all?

The judges have the proverbial ring side seat so they can see what is happening. I could tell the difference first go round...

Excluding of Knockdowns you thought Martinez had the better first round? That round was a clear Paul Williams round. PW won 99% of that round except for the last second knockdown. What did you see that gave Martinez that round?

I wouldn't have had a problem with that, no.

Williams, in my opinion, won the fight. I am just perplexed with newfound love for Martinez. Yes, the kid is a good fighter, but to listen to some folks here, you would think he was about to be enshrined in the Hall of fame.

I dunno, but certainly the 119-110 score lingers like a bad hangover

My answer doesn't fit with any of the options you give here, NBA you *******!

I had Williams winning by a point, and I'm not complaining because that "judge??" gave the fight to Williams, I'm complaining because some people gave him the legal right to judge boxing matches.

Despite my scorecard, I feel a draw would be the most appropriate decision. We need a rematch.

yeah that was my only complaint, the 119-110. I had Martinez, but I can see how some rounds can be pauls and vice-versa. the fight was just way closer than what Pierre saw.

    rematch, rematch, rematch...

Yes I would be complaining because Martinez won that fight without a shadow of doubt in my eyes. Worse I could've seen it is 7 rounds to 5 in his favor, but personally I had Sergio ahead 8 rounds to 4.

He got screwed on the cards no matter how much you try and sugar coat it

Pierre Benoist is a criminal, but anyone who had Williams' winning that fight was biased.

I agree.... Although you could tell Martinez's KD of Williams was more convincing, more impressive, that in itself wasn't enough for me to give him the 1st rd, not when coupled with the fact that PW had a KD of Martinez and that he had won the rest of the round pretty convincingly.

i had just finished watching a very entertaining fight, one of the closest i have seen in recent memory, and although i scored it 115-113 for martinez, i did not care who got the nod as imo it was that close. then this crooked ******* scores the fight 119-110. it completely screwed up what was a great fight. and once again another **** stain on the sport.
to answer the question. if the crooked ******* would have at least had the good sense to keep it close, noone would have been the wiser, and the shitstorm that came from his scorecard would not exist.

    I had it 114-114.

So no, 7-5 either way does not bother me at all.

None of those options. I'd still complain because I don't agree with the decision, but I wouldn't call it a robbery.
