I'm getting a little tired of this whine fest. So I'm calling you all out. I want to first express that I've still not read a analytical explanation on how Kov won from anyone on this board or in the media. Ive just seen conspiracy theories like Ward, a guy who's had to fight on BET, who is not a top star in the sport, doesn't have that kind of influence at all had judges, HBO and everything else in his pocket.

Absurdity is all I can say. So, I want to ask you guys. If the rematch occurs, how many of you will actually follow up on your "moral" convictions and put your money on Kovalev?

We all know majority of you are going to cower behind the judging, the full moon, political conspiracies and whatever other bs superstitions but it still doesn't deter from the fact you don't believe in Kovalev however you want to cut it.

I can guarantee you Steven A Smith, Max Kellerman, Dan Rafael, Steve Kim and majority of people claiming robbery or what not like the majority of you do not have the balls to bet their money on Kovalev.

It's easy to have strong moral convictions which means jack sheet in the scheme of things lmao. Who truly believes in Kov?

The more I know, the more I know I don't know. Boxing is the sports I know the most, but I never win betting on boxing, while I have many wins betting on other sports. If the odds are the same, I will lay a small one on Kov.

Its hard to place money on Kovalev when the judges will give the fight to Ward despite being beaten. Kovalev would have to knock out Ward to win and Ward could just spoil and survive to get the nod. This fight should take place in Canada or in any other country besides Vegas Nevada USA. Kovalev wins anywhere else.

I don't know, Ward has shown he can salvage a fair draw, so You cant rule out a narrow split ward win on any given night.

But the edge has to go to KO4Clev.

People go too far when they claim that Setgey would KO ward - that's clearly not the case. Just look at Andres face after the fight , he weathered the storm, so hes not getting stopped. The man has five times the chin of joe cowardzaghe. Its going to go to a decision again.

You're one of the outspoken ones claiming Ward lost. So you don't see Kovs jab or right hand or power getting him the nod in the rematch lmao? Maybe Kov can adapt a better gameplan. I'm believing you guys are frauds.

The judges in Vegas will probably screw Kovalev over again, bad bad decisions dont generally occur twice, so maybe Kovalev gets the victory he deserves. Oh no, you are a fraud, you seem to know more about boxing than people in the boxing community including hall of fame judges/experts or 80 percent of the mainstream media, go back to flipping burgers.

Difficult. He is the better fighter, no doubt, but under the same circumstances he can not win. He needs to KO Ward, easier said than done. He can not win a decision in the US, with three American judges.

So will Kovalev fight to get the knockout? He is a good fighter but not the same level as GGG or Joshua. In terms of having an intimidating ring presence, he lacks this skill. And he fought against Ward like he doesn't want to get hit. It is difficult to predict what happens in the rematch. If he fights to get the knockout, Ward is in trouble. If he wants to display skills, he won't win. He could even look like Rigo against some drunk street thug, he will not get the decision.

I struggle to see Kov winning a rematch on points but he does have the power to KO Ward. The punch which put him down in the 2nd round was not technically a legal blow, and was delivered with the inside of the glove after Kov slightly mistimed it. The knuckles didn't play any part in the punch, and yet Andre was pretty shaken by it. Had it been a clean connection, who knows if Ward would have made it through the round?

If I was to bet on Kov in the rematch it would only be via KO and in the first half of the fight as it seems Kov didn't have the conditioning to stay powerful over the full 12 rounds in the first fight and would likely be slowed by body punches in the rematch also.

Kovalev will lose more decisively this time round, then after the fight these guys will find a way to not give Ward his just dues. Ward is too adaptable I think he will have the game plan this time round.

no he doesn't need to ko him. The last fight showed he narrowly won without koing him.

Amd I don't think Andre is going to get stopped, not prime andre, even against monsters. Why do I think that - because its what is. Hes too godamn tough.

Both guys are just too good for it to be anything other than a split points win or draw.

Then offer an analytical explanation on how Kov won. Please. The more specific the better.

easy, first six rounds largely his.

most of the next six were wards.

knockdown gives slight edge to ko4clev.

I'm not saying its not close.

So why even have a rematch if we already know what's going to happen lmao.
