It would look absolute ridiculous having a fight there in an empty stadium.

TV deals lol. Haye couldn't afford Briggs. He gets pittance from TV.

Also I thought Haye day 1 and 2 were a success for Haye. Clearly not so much considering he isn't looking at at the O2 again.

02 is booked, that is all, otherwise Haye or Hearn would have had it already.

Briggs wants 4 - 5 times more than some heavyweights are getting for world title fights. He also will only fight on PPV against Haye, as that is the only way he thinks he will get paid what he is worth.

If Haye fights Browne it would generate much more TV interest than his last two fights.

It wouldn't be an empty stadium. Parts would be shut off perhaps but that is standard in many events that don't anticipate operating close to full capacity.

You really should educate yourself with facts on the matter you are commenting on, rather than coming out with inaccurate sh!t.

The plan B would be to send a stinkbomb to the WBA headquarters! If they don't sanction this they need to stop pretending they're a boxing organization.

Yeah they were obviously commercial failures, hence why he has booked a stadium with 5 x larger capacity for his next fight instead of a smaller venue.

No the WBA are right if they don't sanction this. Why should they sanction it? Because Wlad coming of a loss demands it? getdafugoutahere

    What tv networks?

Any promoter worth there salt books a venue they believe they can fill to at least 80% capacity.

Define empty? If haye drew say 20k to the millennium that would be empty simply because of the size of the venue.

You are way overestimating the drawing power of Haye and Browne.

Facts are Haye announced he was coming back and the only network who gave a damn about Haye was Dave lol. Hence having to cheapen out on his pick of opponents. No other network wanted anything to do with Haye Day.

Well does anybody know how much he actually made from the last two debacles?

Also one word DAVE. I refuse to believe they paid him much at all.

Who fights on a comedy channel unless that's the only option on the table.

Haha. I think Joshua and Klitschko need to start battering women on a regular basis. They seem to bend over backwards to accommodate Broner yet much like Golovkin v Brook, this isn't an acceptable fight for their belt yet Broner v Theophane is.

Ortiz is in line for a WBA shot , not those two clowns. They are total non -factors.
I want to see the fights. Wlad should be happy to get an immediate title shot against a green Joshua. But he still wants more. He's not entitled to any unification match. He wasn't even entitled to a rematch against Fury.

So you are trying to claim Haye didn't make good money, but don't know how much he made.

    Enough said :eaea:

Well the fact he said he would give Nick Blackwell 10% of profit from last fight, which resulted in him getting £50k, should give you a clue how much he made.:shakehead:

There's a lot of talk about Haye in this thread amongst you. Since his "comeback", David HAYE has done nothing of note.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he went and fought another nondescript opponent, making it three in a row. This guy wouldn't even go through with fighting 'current Briggs' (of all people) after literally guaranteeing Briggs -and his online "Hayemaker" fanatics- that he would face him straight after the last can he fought. An old, heavily shopworn, two round stamina version of Shannon Briggs should be easy work for David, but apparently even David doesn't think so.

Nowadays, David Haye is just a farce unless he shows otherwise. He shamelessly used Briggs to sell that Gjergaj exhibition match and then ran for cover like a wet pu$$ycat.

As far as I know Browne and Oquendo have separate court orders to fight next, but only for the regular belt. They have no claims over the super.
