At this stage, its plan C as Parker is also out of the picture, and even Stierne was in the running at one stage and hes gone.

    Soooo, plan D?

What's up with Wlad here? WBA or no WBA the IBF is still going to be on the line and he'd get the most kudos/money for taking on/out Joshua as opposed to whoever the WBA line up. Ortiz, Browne, Oquendo - does anyone really give a **** about those fights?

Probably less than what is wrong with you AJ haters picking Charles Martin to destroy him....

And don't you go around hyping several fighters, such as Uysk, who has had less fights than Joshua as the second coming of Sugar Ray Robinson?

    An offer was extended.
Briggs wanted almost 3X what Haye was able to come up with.
    Thats not a dodge.
Why would Haye personally finance Briggs retirement?
If Briggs would take the 6 figures available, he'd have already fought Haye, but he's looking for 7 digits, NOT HAPPENING without a PPV platform as the MAIN EVENT.
What network is gonna buy that?

Not the biggest Haye fan in the least, but it's been made perfectly clear that Briggs refused the Sept date for an estimated 200K

Chitown, the only problem with the solid, logical points you've raised is the fact that they conflict with what Briggs is saying on the subject as of just a few hours ago. A friend of mine informed me about him speaking out about it on some social media account earlier this morning. Says he'll be doing an interview on it soon. It's pretty much Briggs's word against Haye's now.

Neither guy has much credibility, but Haye even less so based on recent embellishments. Apparently Briggs says Haye is lying (putting it nicely) and that he'd fight Haye on DaveTV, whatever that is. So the saga (to nowhere) continues.

Perhaps he would fight on Dave....which is Hayes Youtube channel LOLOL.....but Haye, being self promoted and not exactly having the type of loose change to overpay an opponent, can't meet Briggs demands with a PPV fight.

Haye tried to sell it to Sky, but they balked.

Without Skys backing, Haye can't pay Briggs more than a couple hundred K.

Briggs refuses to fight him for less than high 6 digits.

For how many days now have we heard :

The WBA will make their decision tomorrow.

David Haye will announce his opponent tomorrow.

When is this elusive thing called tomorrow? Is it simply a mirage?
