If there was a compulsory retirement age of 35 for all boxers who's legacy would be most harmed?

If at the age of 35 all boxers had to hang up the gloves who's legacy would be harmed and who s would benefit. And would this have a effect on the boxers themselves , perhaps trying to achieve more before they get forced out.??

Joe Walcott, Bernard Hopkins, George Foreman all take a big hit.

    Mixed results.

That makes his last fight the Botha fight.

He loses his dominant performance against David Tua, and his win over the heir to his throne in Vitally Klitschko.

On the flip side of the coin he never loses to Rahman, and it is only this law that truly retires him.

Hopkins doesn’t even see the Trinidad fight on this timeline!

We might have a winner here!

A big deal at the time, but perhaps less so in hindsight!

George Foreman's bank account would have been effected far more than his boxing legeacy.

    I disagree.

His legacy basically hangs on two great wins, 20 years apart.

Much of the rest of his resume is dross.

Interesting thread. Some stock goes up , some goes down. Roy Jones becomes one of the greatest if he had gotten in the Ruiz victory one year earlier
