    Exactly. It shows nothing else.

Kessler had a cut and a red face after the fight with *Andrade - while Andrade looked like he was not in a fight. Still we all know that Kessler teed off on andrade and had him stunned several times during the fight. So who cuts does not mean anything more than some cut easily others don't.

Lewis won fair. TKO round 6.

The" injuries" where a result from punches!!!!

The injury was caused by Lewis punching him in the face. It's not like he popped his shoulder or twisted his ankle. So, if you're saying had there been no cut, then I think Vitali would have won. But there was a cut, so the question is completely irrelevant.

It's like asking, would Hasegawa have beaten Montiel if he hadn't taken that shot that hurt him and stopped him? It's stupid.

Time for Klit ******s to face the truth. Vitali is still a great fighter and losing to at top 10 ATG HW is nothing to be ashamed about. So get the **** over it.

    No, it was an injury.

In 2005 prime Federer retired vs an unknown qualifier who never again did anything.

He did so stretching to reach a ball. So - he did it in the match.

Federer was ahead 4-1 in the first set. In tennis this is called " injury retirement", but some Klitscho haters would have said:

"This mediocre tennis player > prime Federer". The unknown qualifier won, but no tennis player would be so naiive to pretend that this was a real win in the sense that the qualifier showed he was better than Federer (regardless of "the injury happened because Federer was pushed to get the ball.. bla bla."). No tennis fan would be unintelligent enough to use such an argument.

If Vitali is not cut he wins the fight. Fact is his vision was effected by the cut and he still did good enough to win the six round imo. Without the cut he performs better which would result in a shut out of Lennox Lewis.

Lewis was old and out of shape and he ****ed his eye up from punching him there, no more of an injury than if he knocked him unconcious and concussed him

it was as legit as a win can be and it was the absolute worst version of Lennox. Prime Lennox would absolutely school him

The way some of these ****ers talk about Lewis you would think he came into the ring looking like butterbean and as old as Holyfield. He looked good, just not as good as before and obviously older. Yes he was at his heaviest but not really fat.

Vitaly was a bit green and Lennox was a bit.... old? Nah, really... for a HW 35 years old is just about prime. I think LL would have fought to 38-39 if Vitaly had not come along. Remember that Vitaly was 35 in 2006.

also Vitaly always starts slowly and turns up the heat, so him being ahead despite injuries is quite impressive.

This thread is asking who would have won if we take away the most effective punches from one fighter.
If we take away lewis' most effective punches we should do the same to vitali as well, therefore altering the scoring of the fight.
Vitali wasnt ahead on the cards after 12 rounds, only after 6. It wasnt a six round fight. He wasn't ahead on the cards when he stopped bruno.
If the fight was stopped 2 rounds later because of the cut, I dont think vitali would have been ahead. He was barely holding on at the end of the fight

No agenda whatsoever. The comparison doesn't work at all. Do I really have to point out to you how it doesn't work?

The fight was about only a couple of months before his 38th birthday, thats not his prime age,
vitali was almost 32, so when was his prime? when he was 37 after 4 years out of the sport?
