    I noticed a number of people picked Abraham at 160. I really have to question their understanding of how and why styles make fights. Abraham would make Pavlik look like Tommy Hearns. In fact, a Pavlik/Abraham fight at 160 would look an awful lot like a some what longer version of Hearns/Duran. Sauerland and Wegner always understood that. That's why they never allowed serious negotiations to take place. Doubt me? After the Simon fight Wegner said "If Arthur fought like that, he would have no chance against Kelly Pavlik." Thing is, AA did exactly what he always does in that fight.

    I think for kicks, we should discuss who the 8 champions would be assuming the fight-night weigh-in IS the official weigh-in.

    I disagree with Dawson at LHW. I still think Hopkins would be.

    Pavlik I dont think would be. If Abraham gets down there he would be it. Otherwise Pavlik by default.

    At WW i would say Mosley. Maybe Cotto.

    LW I would say JMM since i still believe JMM would beat Pac at any other weight. And i dont even think Pac could make LW anymore.

    FW probably Chris John or Gamboa

    BW Marquez. Vasquez i think is shot.

    FW Donaire or Darchinyan.

    HW = V. Klitschko
    LHW = Dawson
    MW = Pavlik
    WW = Williams
    LW = Pacquiao
    FW = John

    I don't really care about the lower weights...

    I am not sure why quite a few of you say Hopkins at LHW. There is a reason he won't fight Dawson. Ward and Kessler would give him all kinds of problems at this point and would beat him. Dirrell, if he actually fought him could as well, b/c of his speed.
