I'd put Dawson, Calzaghe, and Kessler above Hopkins at LHW.

I'd put Calzaghe, Hopkins, Wright, Taylor, Dawson, Johnson and Pavlik over Kessler. Maybe Woods.

LHW Calzaghe?, please man. I know that Calzaghe is very skilled and strong but what has this guy done apart from fighting Lacy(after cancelling twice)?, Manfredo?, Bika?, shot Eubank?

Just because he hasn't dosen't mean he couldn't. Hopkins beat an over rated Antonio Tarver and a Wright who was fighting 2-3 classes above his best weight.

Dawson and Kessler have both got a claim to make but all three are definitley ahead of Hopkins at this stage.

Let's see how Calzaghe will be able to fight the top LHW at age 41 and succeed. You might want to reconsider discussing when it comes to accomplishments if Calzaghe is in your side because there obviously isn't much to brag about here and might never be. Did you ask yourself where was Calzaghe when guys like Roy Jones, Tarver, Hopkins, Toney and many others were fighting each other?, was he waiting for them to go to England too?, or maybe they ducked him like Warren wants you to believe, sure they are that's why Hopkins is the one calling him out now despite being 42 years old. Hopkins has accomplished more in his fights at the age of 40-42 than Calzaghe's entire career.

So who would you say would beat him at LHW once he beats Kessler ? Only Hopkins imo and I think then i'd still favour joe.

Hopkins has a chance, so does Dawson and Tarver. Calzaghe hasn't fought at Light Heavyweight and is failing to make major fights in his own division, why the hell should he be #1?
