If They Didnt Stop The Lewis-Vitali Fight, Who Would Of Won?

It is the last great HW fight we have had. If there was a decent challenger out there we'd have something new to talk about. As it is the Klits dominate too hard.

 

Okay i am a massive Klits fan..
But it was a legit stoppage. Vitali was leading yes and would probably have won if it wasnt for the cuts and would likely also have won a rematch..
Lewis was 37 years old and didnt want no more of this business

 

I believe Vitali would have won, and I also believe that's why Lennox retired afterward.
that's just my opinion. unfortunate we'll never know.

 

Given that Vitali couldn't see, Lennox was coming on stronger and Vitali was hanging on like an octopus at the end of the 6th I'd say Lennox.

 

Vitali was clearly outboxing Lewis. If it wasn't for the cut Vitali would have won, no doubt.

 

Depends on if Lennox works the cut or not.

 

Lennox was starting to land his right hand and he would have stopped Vitali in the next few rounds. Lennox had that right which was what makes him great. It was a little off that night, but it was starting to straighten out.

 

Lennox would have won. Vitali would have been blind.

Vitali fought a great fight and was beating Lennox up a fair bit, but he got cut too terribly to realistically fight on.

 

The question seems to be dose Lewis run out of gas or dose Vitail's cut get worse.
I think what was most likely to happen had the fight not been stopped inbetween rounds is that Lewis would have leaned on Vitaly for that round. Recovering his engery and saping it from Vitali. While taking shots at the eye.
It was more likely that Lews was going to regain his enegery or have enough in his tank, than it was that Vitali's cut ws going to heal.
The fight goes 2 more rounds with the same result.

 

That cut was really bad. Lewis would have won eventually IMO.

 

They would have stopped the fight anyway ya dumb ****.

 

Lewis viciously surges on, fighting with all his heart in round 7, & the power-punching pressure really gets to VK...

The ref jumps in & saves a gassed & hurt Vitali on his feet.

Score the first 4 rounds for VK if you like, but Lewis obviously won rounds 5 & 6. :deal

 

Lennox would've won when Vitali died from blood loss.

 

honestly if you dont stop that fight on cuts vitali wouldv quit vits a true ****ing warrior I cant see him taking 4 more rounds of right hands in his eye

lennox is the type a guy that will keep hitting you where he sees blood as you see vitali had 4 deep gashes on 1 eye
