If they fought in any other city would cotto get the decision?

Maybe. I didn't score the fight round by round, but a reasonable case could be made for either fighter winning it.

If looked at the stats Clottey landed way more punches than cotto in the fight.

i had cotto winning at the end, grant it he was taking punches but hell when cotto threw a straight it sit clottey backwards and cotto had clottey more in the corner than clottey had him especially in the 6 hell clottey almost gave the fight away the ref was ready to jump he just wasnt throwing. my prblem i was saying i think at the 7th round cotto should just went south paw and stayed there if anything i would told him to throw his combo than hold. and so on i think cotto trainer failed him again

If they fight a rematch they should fight at a neutral city.

lol...they probably would've given the fight to cotto in ghana and called clottey an idiot for letting a 1 eyed fighter last that long.

I think it should've been a draw or by 1 point for either fighter, but 116-111? Can't blame cotto for that. Blame clottey for not finishing off cotto when he had the chance.

    I disagree.

Clottey out landed Cotto, and not by a little.

He's not like Cotto in that he threw punches just for the sake of throwing them. He's more accurate with his punches. Sure, it's not aggressive, but he out-landed Cotto and deserved the decision in my view.
