jose aldo by knockout jose will be too fast and unorthodox for frankie, if frankie wins he will win by UD.

Maynard who is half beast and nearly put Edgar out whillst having an abysmal KO record. Talking about it like aldo somehow has no chance is bull considering rnd 1 of Edgar Maynard.

He has a chance if he doesnt get taken down which is highly unlikely and good luck subbing Frankie. And Aldo is used to dominate the stand up and Frankie IMHO although less technical is more athletic and elusive than Hominick coz of his movement.

Gray doesnt have a high KO % since he relied too much on his wrestling early on but his boxing has improved leaps and bounds and theres no denying hes got KO power.

Frankie UD imo. Quick enough on his feet to make it difficult for Jose to unload the more spectacular shots in his repetoire and would be able to control Aldo on the ground I think.

Aldo might have a decent chance if he used the tactics he did against Faber, but Frankie is less reckless than Uriah.

FTR I think the guy who poses the biggest problem to Frankie other than Maynard would be Melvin Guillard.

Aldo would massacre Edgar at 145, I'm not so sure at 155 though. I'm probably biased though.

Good call but I still see Frankie taking him down. I'm a huge Guillard fan and its great to have him mature and realize his potential under Jackson but against well rounded wrestlers, you really need that TD defense ala GSP, prime Chuck and BJ.

Guillard has that raw athletic quality which will make it hard for Edgar to hold him down once he gets him there I think.

I'd rate the biggest threats in rough order to Edgar to be Maynard, Guillard, Benavidez, Dunham (extremely aggressive and dangerous off his back and I don't think Edgar has the power to discourage him) and Oliveira to be his biggest threats style wise.

I think he's capable of beating them all though, Edgar is an exceptional fighter.

Jose aldo's head movement and striking is light years ahead of frankie's and if jose can work on his takedown defense then frankie is screwed.

Aldo was getting beaten in the stand up in the 2nd round of the Hominick fight (Edgar has arguably better striking than Hominick) and he barely survived that fight as Mark had the momentum in the end.

Now you say, but Aldo still won. Yes but Edgar would bury Hominick to the mat for 5 rounds and would barely break a sweat.

i pick edgar UD, simply because i don't think he will engage enough to let aldo get comfortable with his strikes....and frankie will do what he always does and rack up some points on take downs late in the rounds

Why do you keep up bringing up this fight when you know Jose Aldo won't come in that shape next time? :huh It's like bringing up the fight where Shogun lost to ****ing Forest Griffin :patsch

I dont think that was a good conditioned Jose aldo however all things being said i still believe jose aldo can beat frankie because he would pick apart frankie just like jose aldo did to urijah.
