If they fought next month, what chance would Bute have of beating Kessler?

Is this a meeting of Butes fan club or what, cant people say their opinion?
Bute wouldnt last the distance with Kessler simple as that...

Bute is very a good boxer with nice speed but Kessler is the more experienced boxer of the two with almost the same age as Bute. And Kessler sure packs power in his punch, Bute has a good KO% but I think it's time to face better opponents. If I have to choose I'll go with the Viking Warrior by KO

Being VERY generous to Bute, i gave him 40% chance of winning. But this largely depends on Kessler's cureent state of mind. If he is in any way "damaged goods" so to speak after the JC fight, then Bute has a very good chance of winning. I'd still favour Kessler pretty heavily, due to his experience (and skill level obviously!!), but if LB got off to a good start, then he could have Kessler in some trouble.

I think he matches up fairly well, although Kessler is a bit more polished at this stage. However, I actually expect Kessler to have learnt a lot from the Calzaghe fight and to come back stronger, whereas Bute has yet to be truely extended

Bute's not even an average Joe. I think Kessler stops him mid-rounds, unless he was completely demoralized after the JC fight. I think Kessler will have learned a lesson well and go on to do very well.

Yeah, I think 40% is very generous. However, everything under 30% seems unduly pessimistic. :good

Id say 25-30% based on the quality of opposition they have both faced so far in their respective careers.

Kessler would obviously be the big favourite but any fighter who steps in the ring has a chance.

I think Bute is hoping he is around 30-35% right now, so that he can lift that to 40-45% by the time he has to face Kessler.

Do you think that Bute is of the same ablity level as Kessler or higher or lower?
