Who would have won these fights if there had been a rematch 6 months down the road. Assuming both men trained hard.

    Tyson/Douglas

    Lewis/McCall

    Foreman/Moorer

    Wlad/Sanders

At first glance, you would think Moorer. But I am not so sure thinking about it.

Moorer is the only one who wouldn’t turn it around. I don’t think he’d have the mental make-up to come back thinking he could win.

Douglas would have no shot at beating Tyson again for a similar but different reason (mental attitude)… he had his lifetime performance - and seemed to check out afterwards.

I'd heavily favour Tyson and Lewis and narrowly favour Moorer and Wlad.

    Tyson
    Lewis
    Moorer
    Sanders
Klitschko needed time to improve technically and not make himself predictable for the counter left, something which took time, Sanders was 37 when he beat Klitschko, but ironically I’d pick 37 year old Klitschko to beat any version of Sanders.

Yep, Sanders was a terrible match-up for Klitschko at that time. Wlad had no idea how to deal with him, and an immediate rematch may have been a bad idea. Quite possible that Wlad would have been tagged early and unraveled again in a rematch.

Since we're assuming Douglas trains hard again (even though he never actually did again IRL), then I think he wins the rematch as well.

I'd go w/ McCall again. People act as though McCall just scored "1 lucky punch" & that's it, but he was catching Lewis w/ counters right from the opening bell. I don't trust Correa to fix Lewis' technical flaws given that he allowed them to persist for so long in the 1st place, & (in this scenario) we're assuming McCall is still being trained by Steward.

This is the toughest to call out of all of these IMO, but if I have to choose, I'd probably bet on George to catch Moorer again @some point.

As long as Sanders comes in in serviceable shape, he has Wlad's number IMO.
