actors/ sports star/ person do you think should play them??? jack johnson joe frazier ray robinson joe louis (i kno they made that other film on him but say if they made a modern one) larry holmes mike tyson also i have not seen the "phantom punch" so dont know how good it is but i think ving rhames would be the right choice for liston.
According to Phantom Punch: Sonny's manager was ordered by the Mafia to tell Sonny to throw the Patterson fight. After Sonny won, the manager was about to be murdered, then told them he placed a huge bet on Sonny and won them money, so they let him live. Sonny was having an affair with the *****-turned-wife of his manager. To get even, the manager raped her and then let the mob think that Sonny refused to throw a fight for them, resulting in Sonny being murdered. Not exactly the bio of Liston I was hoping for.
Jack Johnson - Michael Clarke Duncan or Terry Crews Joe Frazier - Terrence Howard on the gear Ray Robinson -Terrence Howard on diuretics Joe Louis - Cuba Gooding Jr. Larry Holmes - no idea, maybe Tyrese Gibson with a good wig and a good diet to fatten him up a bit? (lol, horrible suggestion) Mike Tyson - Jamie Foxx on the gear
Michael Clarke Duncan for Jack Johnson is perfect. 50 Cent for Mike Tyson, I mean... this is the guy who's playing during in a movie. This content is protected
Whoever would do the Mike Tyson part would have a hard act to follow in Michael Jai White, who's already played Tyson in the straight to video film,of the same title, about 15 years ago. Sometimes I was almost convinced that White WAS Tyson. George C.Scott was excellent (as he always was) as Cus D'Amato. No doubt you have this one in your collection.
Jack Johnson - already done - James Earl Jones played a great part, wasnt legit about Jack Johnson but was good enough to cover the main plots In a new version i think Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje would do an excellent job Mike Tyson - again already done, Michael Jai White was excellent although a new film covering the latter part of his career would be good. Probably a beefed up jaimee Foxx would be best imo Ray Robinson - no idea Larry Holmes - god knows Joe Frazier - James Toney did a good job in Ali :hey Joe Louis - I think someone said Cuba Gooding Jnr - good shout, he was top draw in Gladiator, underated actor, think hed do a good job other candidates could be Lawrence Fishbourne and Wesley Snipes but think they may be too old now
i read somewhere that eddie murphy had a contract to portray srr in a movie about the great sugar man. dont know if its true or not but if so he better hurry up cause hes getting oooooooollllllldddddd.
