If they retired today, where would you rank them as ATG's?

Of course, of course, you weigh these things as best you can...there were fighters I had to rate without knowing them all that well (Fenech is one example, I learned about him on the hoof) but i know Oscar pretty well.

How high would you like to see him?

not really sure though but i think he makes 50...number one reason perhaps would be his acheivements, 6 division, has only done 40+ fights to acheive such a resume. Has a win over fighters who are shoe ins in the top 50 like chavez twice and whitaker(although that would be also controversial)

DLH has done enough to merit being placed ahead of PBF.

130 was the only division in which PBF's achievements outshine DLH's.

    135, 140, 147 and 154 belong to DLH.

Being undefeated is the only other accomplishment Floyd could hold over DLH but the fact he never faced a Hopkins, JCCr, Whitaker, Quartey, Mosley, Trinidad, etc easily explains that 0 in his loss column!

i think oscar would also have been undefeated if he had floyd's resume except for his name of course.. and that it would have a higher KO ratio than floyd's current record

    1)mayweather
    2) pac
    3) hopkins
    4) de la hoya
    18743) calzaghe

i personally find it impossible to rank de la hoya his achievements are good but when you look at his career defining fights he's lost most of them and received questionable decisions in several others (i scored his fights with quartey whitaker and sturm against him).

Temper, temper.. If you don't like us "*******s," maybre go post in a different thread? I asked what ya'll thought, and then gave my opinions.. I'm not bitching about what they think.. It's not like I'm saying "If you don't have Pac #1, then you don't know ****".. I just simply stated why I thought he was #1.. Just because you don't like the idea of him being or seeing someone else thinking that he was #1, don't ****ing cry about it.. Give your opinion on who's ranked what, not being a douche.. "WRONG ANSWER EVERYONE" Well where the **** is your answer??

DLH a top of lot of people's list is a bit confusing. But anyway:

    1. Floyd (Top 35ish - between 30-35ish)
    2. B-Hop (I struggle to see how people could rate him lower than DLH)
    3. DLH
    4. Pac
    5. Calzaghe

    1. Floyd Mayweather - The best of the group and the one with the best chance at being in the top 5 P4P when he's done. I would say he could be top 15 right now. So far in his life time I would probbly only rate Sugar Ray Leonard, Pernell Whitaker and Roy Jones Jr higher than him P4P.
    2. Oscar De La Hoya - He has the worst record of these choices but he has fought the best aviable comptition he might not have allways won but he got in the ring with them. A win over Mayweather in September would have him at #1 on this list. I think he is an easy pick for the top 50 possibly top 10 if he beats Mayweather. In his prime in my opinion only Mayweather is the only one who is better on this list.
    3. Manny Pacquiao - It is very likely that Pacquiao will pass De La Hoya in the ATG P4P rankings. Like De La Hoya his opoents have ben among the best avaible. I think De La Hoya has a better skill set at their primes but Pacquiao is more exciting. Top 50 posible top 15.
    4. Joe Calzaghe - I almost put Hopkins hear but realized the only undefeted boxer on the list should rank higher. Calzaghe has been crticized for some of his opoents but he dose have some good wins in his recent outtings aginst Jeff Lacy, Sakio Bika, Mikkel Kessler and Bernard Hopkins. Top 50 as high as 20.
    5. Bernard Hopkins - He has wins over Felix Trinidad, Oscar De La Hoya, Antonio Tarver and Ronald Wright. The loss to Calzaghe hurts him in these rankings as do losses to Roy Jones Jr and his two losses to Jermain Taylor.

It's not as confusing as you think, it's actually pretty clear; DLH is the most accomplished fighter of the 2!

There is no way Joy Boy shoudl be over DLH or Hopkins, but he is over Pac and Joe. Mayweather's not even fought elite calibre opposition.

No ****, he actually fought a good lot of top elite fighters and was competitive in all or won, compared to Mayweather's much weaker resume and performance level at that. See a prime Hoya struggling with JLC?:yep

DLH's should be wins over Trinidad, Mosely 2 are better than anything Floyd's ever done. His win over Vargas is better than anything Floyd's done, his win over a prime Quartey is a better opponent than anybody Floyd faced and he cleaned up B levels much easier than Floyd did.
