If they were the same size... How would Hopkins handle the Pacman ?

I was just thinking what a weird blend of styles this would be.... Hopkins is the defensive master that punishes every mistake & Pacquiao is the man that does make basic mistakes but will keep coming with speed & power all the way thru + has the iron chin to not get to discouraged by Hopkins counters.

Its unlikely that Hopkins will school him like he did Pavlik & equally unlikely that Pac will steamroll Hop like he did to Diaz so it will be a back & forth clash of opposite styles.... I cant make my mind up just now, I MIGHT be leaning towards B-Hop at this moment (thats not my final answer) what do you guys think ?

This is impossible to debate. Dimensions matter.

I'm not keen on p4p match ups, but I see what you mean about this one - strrategical master versus basic opponent with great attributes.

I pick Hopkins, big. I think Manny is made for him. Basic strategy - keep the left foot outside the right of Manny and punish the jab with the straight right. If he gets cute, stepping in with the left hook is a secondary option. Basically Pac sells himself to power punches. Far, far less than he used to, but he still does it. Hopkins is the best placed in the world to take advantge of the that fact.
