Admit it.....you would talk about how Lewis would have zero chance to beat guys like Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, Sonny Liston and especially Muhammad Ali. Zero chance. You would say "If the limited Rahman could KO him then Dempsey would do XYZ to him"! I know you denizens of boxingforum24.com

If this forum were around in 1936, people would be calling Joe Louis a hyped bum

If this forum were around in 1897, we'd be wondering whether it were possible for any HW to withstand Bob Fitz's 165 lbs of fury.

If this forum were around in 1867, we would all call the MOQ rules a load of bollocks.

If this forum were around in the future, they'd be calling mutants dudes with an unfair advantage because they don't have a gender and have a lot of fingers and fists and stuff.

To all related contributors, BRILLIANT use of “If this forum were around...”

As versatile as Rodney Dangerfield’s lead in “I don’t get no respect...”.

    Nah.

I would’ve said Lennox was just complacent and out of shape. The outcome being an absolute anomaly - just like Flynn’s blowout of early career Dempsey in their first fight.

I would’ve added “Mark my words peoples, in the rematch, Lewis will flatten Hasbeen in the 4th round, leaving him with blood trickling out of his mouth and his foot twitching”.

Trust me bros, this is EXACTLY what I would’ve said.

Was Rahman's foot twitching? I admittedly haven't watched that fight in quite some time. I do remember Ingo's foot twitching after Floyd knocked him out in that second bout.

People treat everything happening in the present like its the most important thing ever. Thats why historical perspective is so important. Without it we are no different than dogs barking at the mail man everyday.

Rahman blew hot and cold but he was not 'limited'. Top shelf fighter in his prime.
