I was on that board too. Who did you post as if you don’t mind me asking? I was PD99.

I’d love to know of any of the other crowd from there who may be posting here now.

I remember guys like 10-8, Hawkins, TKO11, NoneYerBusiness, Sharkey, Klomp, etc.

I looked it up a while ago and saw that the site owner, Stephen Gordon (Gordoom) had sadly passed away. I recall that when he shut up shop he moved to Panama - his dream retirement location.

That's a stretch. Holyfield won via headbutts and wrestling instead of boxing.

I mostly lurked and have no clue what my username was.

It is wild to see Rooster bridge a twenty year span with his Norris--Leonard schtick though.

 That’s quite an obsession, isn’t it? Lol. NN - Do you mean just on ESB or did Rooster also post to CBZ?

That’s Holyfield’s whole career. But at that age there are no excuses. Holyfield himself worked through a terrible elbow against Holmes.

Haha. He would show up at CBZ and taunt the main guys there using an alias, challenging them to come here and enter his threads.

Me and NoNeck don't always agree but he is right on this from memory I remember the fight being fairly even until the headbutt.

And obviously Rahman couldn't carry on with that terrible haematoma just thinking about it makes me wince.

That’s right. He was a genuine pro who fought some good guys and won some. Rahman had a plan, power and landed a good punch.

I've been Dubblechin on every board I've been on, starting with BoxingWise.

I didn't know Gordoom passed, either.

There would be hype when Lewis was knocked out, and an even bigger counter hype when Lewis avenged his defeat
