I wont believe that there was a rehydration clause unless we here it from someone pertinent to the promotion.........

.......but I'm not worried about the hate, I'm already hated by *******s for posting logic.:D

He didn't look all that big to me. He looked about the same size as Pac, maybe even a little smaller.

The rehydration clause doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. I don't even know how you could properly regulate that.

sigh.. yeah, divac's logic.. but tell me, do you believe pac's people would put that kind of clause as Frazier said in the contract?

People forget that it was on dela Hoya's terms that Pac has to follow. It was Oscar's decision for them to fight at 147. If that "rehydration clause" was really true, Oscar could have easily pulled out of the fight and tell the whole world about that "clause" because he was on the A-side of the promotion.

    It's all bull****.

right dick! and I don't belive it.. I just knew there would be people like you that would jump all over him for trying to make a logical point instead of just automatically agreeing with pac no questions asked..

DLH's camp already assumed that he will be stronger than Pac on fight night. The lighter weight was to match Pac's speed.

Until now posters here cannot accept that DLH was not weight drained on his fight with Pac. DLH was already 147lbs 2 weeks before the fight. He can't suddenly balloon to 157lbs on fight night.

It would be easy to regulate.

They go into a private room behind closed doors and like what HBO does to unofficially weigh fighters, the fighters get on the scale.
Now if a fighter is over the contracted for rehydration, he can either opt out of the fight or pay a heavy fee coming out of his purse for being over the limit.

None us really know and can only speculate, but who's to say that there was'nt in the contract of Pac-DLH that if a fighter was over the Welter limit, it would cost that fighter 10% or even more of his earnings for each pound over.....

excuses, excuses... still can't stomach the fact that pac has been proving their ass-**** predictions wrong. it's easy to make up stories about "pac is this and that" but as long as there is no solid proof to back it up, it's still considered as plain "bitching".

Just for the sake of debate......but the last time that DLH had stepped on an un-official scale depicting his actual weight in the ring was almost 10 years earlier.

......because DLH was always fighting smaller fighters, the unofficial scales always showed he had a significant advantage stepping into the ring......because of it, he then took it upon himself not to get weighed before he stepped into the ring.......

Now, how do you now explain that after almost 10 years of refusing to step on HBO's un-official scale, that for the Pacquiao fight now he steps on it?????????

Now by stepping on that un-official scale for the Pacquiao fight, is it not his way of letting the world know, "If I lose, this is the reason why!" "I was completely depleted." ????????

Why did DLH allow himself to be weighed un-officially by the HBO scales when he had not for nearly 10 years???:think

Why don't these threads get deleted so worthwhile things can be discussed?
