F off! lmao. I was gonna mention Klitschko but restrained myself. I don't mind Wlad, I just chose not to watch many of his fights because of his style. If that's what the people want to see, so be it.
As I said, some is okay, but it can get excessive at times. But hey, they don't deduct for rabbit punches either which are far more dangerous to a fighters health than clinching so carry on. Boxing won't die if I stop watching that's for sure.

of course they are more dangerous. clinch might be damaging but this is not head/ brain damage risk like with rabbit punches.
These were prohibited to increase athletes safety and prolong their competitive athletes careers.

Yeah, Wlad is great fighter, highly skilled and powerful boxer. His style definitely might look boring, this is truth.
Octopus is even worse, if compare with this even Wlad is not boring at all.

Heavyweight will always be the pinnacle of boxing. The best super cruiserweights would most probably step up to heavyweight if the right opportunities come up.

Catch, not sure if you're being sarcastic or not. Ali was also a master of the clinch - against much smaller HWs than this era. Didn't see Ali being warned and never close to having a point deducted.

Norton once said, Ali has a new style - holding. Not sure if he said this before or after their 3rd fight where Ken was robbed.

Povektkin has been past his best for a number of years now. He'll he was over the hell when he fought AJ. However, now he's right over it and descending fast.

Providing Gassiev is 100% healthy I think he's going to be wreaking havoc up at HW with that CW Level power of his.

S-JAM Boxing said he's the hardest puncher he's ever seen, and that he's seen him up close and personal in the gym and tapes of him doing bad things to top ten HWS.

No way could AJ get to 224, he`s far bigger now than when he was an amateur.

Of the current top heavies there is a tiny handful who simply couldn't sensibly get down below 225 without seriously dimishing themselves as fighters [Fury being the obvious example], another modestly-sized handful who could probably do it with a modest amount of effort involved [e.g. Joshua, Whyte, Parker, Ruiz, Ortiz], all the rest are either below 225 already or could trivially easily cut that low with day-before weigh ins, i.e. entering the ring at c 240 [reference point: Joshua weighed in at 242 in Ruiz II, when you're that big another 2lbs is nothing].

So my answer is - anyone other than Fury, which is a fairly telling reflection of how strong the need for a new class with a 225 cutoff is. 225 mostly filters out a few Valuev type extreme outliers, nothing much more than that. A halfway sensible compromise step might be to say increase the current LHW limit by say 5lbs and the current CW limit by say 10lbs. But we really don't need any new weight classes.
