He's got good skills, decent but not overwhelming power and is not very flash in and out of the ring.

Would it help his profile to start talking **** and acting ignorant?

Yes. No one pays to see a black fighter act like a gentleman. They only want to see them get beaten, unless they are a KO fighter.

Ward needs to change his "persona" up as well.

I think Timbo's a top 10 P4P fighter but he has been way too vulnerable against so-so opposition to be a mega star like Floyd. Floyd has the aura of invincibility to go along with his doucheness and that is money in the bank.

    It couldn't hurt.

Personality sells. Look at Shane Mosely, good looking guy, knocking fighters out, personality of an egg plant. Popular yes. Superstar no. Controversy sells. Thats just how it is.

He's nowhere near as talented and as skilled. And his fights are dreadful to watch. So no. I don't think he would be a mega-star.

Pretty much. Timmy is very beatable (I would favour at least 3-4 guys from 135-147 to get the job done). Floyd is not.

Kind of agree with both of you, PBF's incredible skills and the ease with which he wins his fights is a huge part of his appeal and the **** talking is what gets him the astronomical purses.

    No

Floyd also happens to be the best fighter of his era

People I also tune in because they like to watch Floyd's skills in the ring. Timmy isn't that skilled. I've watched boxing events live in public places, and Floyd actually has a fanbase.

Nothing can change the fact that he's got a weird looking face and a non-intimidating voice.

Hell no. Mayeather's emence talent allow him to get the reaction he does. If Bradley said much of the **** Floyd does, people would simply dismiss him without a second thought.

No way. He doesn't have the skills to back it up.

He is the opposite of Mayweather.

May is a vile piece of **** as a person, but has tremendous skills.

Bradley is a really cool, likeable guy, but doesn't have enoug skill to be a mega star.

Bradley is nowhere near as good as Floyd.

But lets not forget people use to say the same thing about Floyd not that long ago. He couldn't draw flies to **** and the commentators used to dog him.
