If today's HW division is so terrible, then why didn't Rahman win?

I think its safe to say that both Klitschko brothers are past their primes yet there i no one that is close to being a challenge to either fighter. That kind of speaks for that talent in the HW division. There's a 41 year old Champion that doesn't look like he'll be dethroned anytime soon unless he fights his brother.

True, but with all do respect Im not buying that theory. The weight of gloves hasn't changed in 30 plus years. I truly believe its a lost art at heavyweight because fighters are lazier and would rather lean on you than put the work in to break a guy down to the body. That also may fall under stamina issues for "modern" heavyweights too.

National Conference Call Transcript World Heavyweight Champion Lennox Lewis,
    Thursday, April 24 2003

Question: What kind of shape are you in?

Lewis: I am in great shape.

Question: Are you looking to fight twice this year?

Lewis: That is fair to say.

So what is your point? Are people not entitled to change their minds when they think they've done everything there is to do? Vittles said he'd fight Haye and it wasn't about the money. He's changed his mind but that's ok with you. Talk about hypocrisy.

some "people" always change their mind after getting their ass whooped. Some blame it conditioning ("I was at my WORST"), some blame it on ailing toes. It is a british tradition.

And some do steroids claiming injury or retire to avoid Hasim Rahman after again claiming injury only to come back when the coast was clear. It's a Vittles tradition!

    See how that works? :rofl

I didn't name him in one of the 20 fighters, so I'm not sure what your point is.

Anyway. He's not much worse than Sosnowski, ancient Briggs, Mormeck, old Rahman, recycled Tony Thomson, Manuel Charr.

He'd do a lot better today than he did back in the 90s, that's for sure.

He'd Crawford Grimsley a lot of these current fatties and protected species.

Not sure about Adamek but Povetkin would put a waste on that bum of a club fighter. You can't compare C+ level fighter to an A (A- to be exact).
