Before I get crucified by this sub for making this match…let me explain, before Tommy knew he was sick he was supposedly slated by Don King to have a string of fights that ended with a match with Mike Tyson, had this fight happened at this point in both there careers, how would it have went? Would Tyson have backed off early because of Tommy’s power? Would Tommy’s glass wiskers have failed him early? Was Tyson to fast for Tommy to find? I personally think that this fight is alittle closer than most think, but id like to hear the experts opinions. Any thoughts?
If we say everything in your quote is true then the one overriding factor is Morrison's glass jaw. Even at that point in Tyson's career nobody who can't handle big punches is going to last too long with him.
This. I think Morrison was pretty good and he might be problematic for Tyson for a bit - but. But Tyson was a tough MF and could take the incoming, whereas Tommy could not. Inevitably Tyson is going to tag him a good one and its will be game over.
I think Morrison try s, I really do. I think he knows he has Tysons respect fast and goes out fast. But Tyson loves that. So Tommy finds himself in trouble in the first minute. Tyson Ko 1
I always liked Tommy in spite of his flaws mostly chin and stamina. But he's way too chinny for Mike who blows him out in either the first or second round.
I'm with you, though I think Tommy might barely make it to the second round (albeit staggering and looking generally unwell). He might last a minute into the second.
