If Torres & Judah can hurt Cotto, surely Pacman can knock him out?

Of course he can be knocked out.....His "glass chin" as they call it, has gotten him knocked out vs. Torres (who was on 2 weeks notice that fight, remember Cotto never even knew who the guy was because Branco was hurt. Torres was I believe 29-0, 27 KOs something like that), Judah, Mosley, Randall Bailey (the one with that KO everyone was raving about a month or so ago), Margarito (even with potentially loaded gloves). Cotto has been knocked out so many times, flat by 1 punch that I've had a very hard time finding photos of them.....there doesn't seem to be many photos of him flattened on his back....there is 1 by Torres where he pushed him down.....but other than that, I haven't been able to find any 1 punch KO's of Cotto, just himself taking knees..Doesn't anyone have any where he is flat on his back twitching like Hatton this weekend?

It's possible, but I think Cotto would be too big and strong for Pacquiao while being able to stand up to all but the most hellacious of Pacman's punches. And Cotto's chin has held up well at 147.

Either man can win the fight. Judah probably even would have put Cotto away if not for having his steam taken out early with the low blows.

Tough one to call at this point. Cotto must be the favourite?

This is a great fight, and if it happens south of 147, Manny might even deserve to be favored.

It was sarcasm. It's more for those who believe Manny just has to hit him 1 time and he will be KO'ed like that. This is more to show the realists out there that Cotto has faced more than his share of hard punchers and KO artists and has yet to hit the canvas, in an official manner in his 9 year career. He can be hurt and buzzed, but the man has incredible mental strength.

Yes, if something stupid like 140lbs, I will bet heavily on Pacquiao on the basis that Cotto will be drained.

As a fan of Pacquiao and Cotto both, if this fight materializes, I'd be more concerned with how well Manny absorbs Miguel's punches than vice versa. Manny has been hurt lesser fighters than Torres and Judah.

If this fight does happen I'd probably pick Pacquiao cause I'm done underestimating him, but would certainly be hoping for Cotto to land the perfect left hook Marquez landed on Pac in the rematch :hey either way, Cotto has a big task ahead of him with Clottey and if he wins we'll have a better idea on Cotto's chances against the p4p King :good

It was a rhetorical question. Cotto was stunned but never hurt or in any danger against Judah.

He hit the canvas, wobbled badly, and seconds away from a stoppage loss by Ricardo Torres.

I like Pac, but I dont think Pac can withstand Cotto's power attack. If the fight is at 140 I do give Pac a slight edge. Cotto use to be a 140Iber, so I dont know?
