if tua wins, what should be his next move?

Good to know, I'll be interested if hris ever fights a guy he could box or would need to - like Tua - to see what he does, but for now I think those rumours can be put to bed.

Either Sam Peter or Cris Arreola.

I think he should go for Sam Peter first, because I see Tua being able to knock Peter out and that would create some good press for Tua. Then look at Cris Arreola in the lead in to a title shot against anyone not named Klitschko.

 

The only question mark most of us had when considering a Tua Areola match up was...... is Tua fit enough to fight an active fast paced fighter like Arreola after a lay-off.

Arreola is an in your face type of fighter,so Tua being able to hit him was never going to be a problem,just we wondered if his timing was on tune after a longish layoff.


As far as comeback fights go it was not the right time to start a fight with A high ranked contender.

Im not so sure that Cameron is easier than Arreola though i must say. Im not sure whether my doubt is caused by Arreolas last fight, or simply all the hype thats been going around involving the FOTC

 

Arreola would beat Tua at this point in my view. I think Arreola would beat any version of Tua post Lewis too.

 

You may get a chance to see the fight in the not too distance future IMO
Arreola, coming off his loss will probably try to get back some confidence, or momentum, whatever, he'll fight a couple of guys he can beat then be looking for to fight a name to prove he's got what it takes.
Tua, post Cameron it's hard to tell what he does, but the smart money at this stage say's he'll head to the States - he has a deal here with Maori TV that would see him paid a pittance if he fights in NZ - and he'll be looking to prove he still has what it takes to fight the best.
The fight makes sense, and has to be more attractive and a better earner for both guys than a lot of the fights out there for them at the moment.

 

Tua doesn't do enough to beat anyone who has a chin solid enough to take one to two flush punches in a fight, Tua isn't as skilled as Arreola and Arreola is much taller.

For all the talk about how **** Arreola was against Vitali - that was Vitali, a contender for one of the H2H ATGs. Tua would never make anyone Top 100.

 

I was just about to say that the fight against Klit was not a typical Arreola style of fight.

But i have no problem in suggesting Tua would hit him like he has never been hit before.

 

Tua's chin is 10 times better then Arreola. Arreola is taller? Of course he is but he doesn't use his height well at all. Arreola is way too 1 dimensional in which he's a brawler. <<That style spells bad news for Arreola cause if he brawl with Tua i bet my money Tua will ko him.

 

Any version of Tua? You mean the Tua that weigh around 220's by stopping Rahman, Maskaev, ktfo Ruiz?

 

Rahman built his career on one punch.
Maskaev was a solid journeyman.
Ruiz was never a great fighter, just an awkward one.

That version of Tua lost to Ibeabuchi, another big punching, high volume workrate fighter with a good chin and height advantage.

 

I'm comparing their styles, Ibeabuchi would have beaten Arreola - Tua would not.
