If Tunney & loughran remached

    You keep coming back to this idea of Tunney being a "better version of Loughran". Now while he undoubtedly packed a lot more heavy artilery, and was perhaps more durable, I do not think that he was the better techincian. I also do not think that they were verry similar stylisticaly, beyond the fact that they were both technicians.

    Loughran was clearly a much more out of the box thinker (make up your mind wether that is a good thing or a bad thing). I have speculated that if Loughran had the power and physical presence of Tunney, he would have been a much more dangerous fighter.

    Finaly, I would say that Tunney was a lot closer to his prime when they fought on the one hand, and would likley have been on the slide when Loughran reached his prime on the other.

    We will have to disagree here. Stylistically I think they are very similar.
