Actually, I don't think they do. Just taking a fight doesn't mean he's defending any kind of championship. Certainly that's the case when the fight isn't scheduled for a championship distance such as the 10 rounders with Seferi and Planeta.

Who beat the man. Fury did and it was a masterclass. People might say it was boring but WK was outclassed… too slow an robotic

There's a lot of historical precedent for 10 round defences of the lineal title.

Fury set an all time 12 round defensive record for a contender against a champion in that fight. In terms of "don't get hit and win on points" it's statistically the GOAT performance. Against the P4P No.6 and top 3 longest reigning heavyweight champ of all time, who happened to be a 6'5+ KO artist.

    I see a pattern
    Ran from price
    Ran from ustinov
    Ran from ukada
    Ran from the vlad rematch
    Ran from uysk the middleweight
Ran from the naganou after talk
As run from the naganou rematch
    Down the line
    Which line
    How much more

Well no Chisora was never a real champion and has double digit losses so that's a terrible comparison. Joshua is a 2x champion and beat far more named opponents than he lost to.

Who is in your top 20 ATG HW list?

Not top 50 for me. He has done sweet FA yet had so much promise. Just to add thats top 50 Heavy Weights no where to be seen in top 200 or more counting all weight divisions

Whenever I hear someone say "Joshua has the best resume" I think of Chisora, who does actually have the best resume (he's fought Ring champions more frequently than Tyson, Holmes or Foreman for instance). Not the best in terms of winning of course but neither does Joshua, who in stark contrast to Chisora was a big A-side fighter. No one Joshua has beaten save dethroned 41 winless in 2 years Wlad in London is clearly above Chisora's level (hence so many of Joshua's best opponents went to split decisions with Chisora or lost to him) and neither is the Ruiz who beat him.

    Fury’s wins: W. Klitschko (39, away, underdog), Wilder x2 (34, away, underdog, 35, away)

Fury’s draw: Wilder (33, away, underdog)

    3-0-1

    Joshua’s wins: W. Klitschko (41, home)

    Joshua’s losses: Ruiz (29, away), Usyk x2 (34, home, 35, home, underdog)

    1-3

    Chisora’s losses: Fury x3 (22, 26, underdog, 34, underdog), V. Klitschko (40, underdog), Haye (31, underdog), Usyk (33, underdog)

    0-6

"Who is in your top 20 ATG HW list?"

I don't have one, it's too subjective imo. It's easiest to compare when the eras are closer and I'd place Fury's record as the best of the last two eras as things stand.

If that, fury fans are delusional in thinking that he is a atg. His only claim to fame is being one half of the worst fights I have ever seen, then ducking the rematch.

If you don't even like making top 20 lists and claim they're too subjective, why are you objecting to me having Fury on the lower end of a top 20 list...?

Fury isn't even the best of his own era until he beats Usyk so that's wildly inaccurate to claim he's the best of the last two eras. Hilariously inaccurate.

Top 20-25. When you dethrone a great champ, even a 40 year old one, you don't have to do a lot more, and you throw in the trilogy against Wilder, a very small handful of other meaningul fights, and a "0," deserved or not, and he has a legacy.

However, PEDs, ducks, borderline fights and Ngannau cut very deeply.

Maybe a peak Holmes beats Fury but the one that Tyson fought certainly doesn’t.
