Let's not act like Ali was unbeatable in the 70s. He had his fair share of poor performances and picked up losses he wouldn't have picked up in his younger days. If he runs into a prime Tyson in his FOTC form he's going to lose. But that's just my opinion.
Fair enough. But I think Ali was in good enough form in FOTC to defeat Tyson. I believe FOTC was one of Ali's best fights, certainly in the 1970s. Frazier needed to put forth a superhuman effort to win that one, absorb plenty of punches and was never the same again. I doubt Tyson could replicate anything like that.
" I dont beleive i would have been much trouble for Tyson,he had speed" G.foreman How is a great defensive guy with power custom made for foreman? foreman was lucky to beat Lyle who was the only true power puncher he fought in that era.Foreman had practically no defense, its a mismatch really.
Tyson would dominate easy because Cus Damato would be there his whole career and that means Tyson 2.0 in an era with less distractions than the 80's too. What fight shows Ali would defeat Tyson still looking ? lol
Ali wins the mind games, as he usually did. And he has the physical tools. Tyson wasn't as mentally tough as Frazier and folds in the FoTC.
Nonsense. Frazier was fast too. George was slower then almost all his opponents. He made his comeback for 2 reasons. Money. Mike Tyson. That is all. This content is protected
