IF Tyson/Jones Sells decent PPV Numbers...

Kids at my school have been talking more about this than Joyce vs Dubois.

How messed up is that.

Joyce and Dubois two unbeaten fringe top ten prime contenders fighting on non PPV and its overshadowed by Tyson.

The guy is a phenom.

Worst thing is, I can't help up be intrigued myself.

 

Conor has a huge casual audience. There’s loads of them that don’t watch any other UFC except when he fights.

 

Kids know pop culture. Tyson is pop culture.

 

Not necessarily. It would just enlighten more people to the quality of such an event, which may not align with their initial expectations.

In other words, it could be crap and there could be quite a lot of buyer's remorse. Therefore, less future sales.

The fuss over this fight is just as much about us wanting to recapture a little of our youth as it is Mike and Roy.

If Joyce & Dubious knock the stuffing out of each other why would you want to stay up till 1am to watch two old men kill your boner?

It depends not on the sales, but on the reception. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice...you can't fool me two times.
Of course, if this does sell well, Tyson would have fooled us two times because he already had a horrible farce of an exhibition against T-Rex Sanders.
Anyhow, if this delivers a fun match, then we will see more old timers exhibitions. If it's as bad as the last Tyson exhibition, we won't see another.

I wonder how much this is for charity? If it raises a bunch of money for worthy charities and no one gets hurt, then it's a good thing.

Tyson`s head movement as better than DDD`s was v Joyce, he looked sharper all round.
