the resson im not sold as to if mike could beat vitali is vitali is so tuff..and i dont see him being scared,, great chin,, the thing about tyson was you would have to beat him down round after round like douglas are holyfield did..i can see vitali doing just that..but he would have to be able to take some hell to do it like douglas and holyfield did.
I believe that the result would be the same, but the fight would be different! Mike was a much quicker starter than Joe was, and he would surely land some blows of his own early on. Joe stung George good with a couple of hooks...I see no reason why Mike would not land a few hooks of his own, get some heavy body blows in and maybe even a nice uppercut or 2. I think Mike does decent for 2-3 rds, before george starts teeing away with that jab...I would take Foreman, but would not be surprised if he had to come off the canvas ala Ron Lyle in winning this one. Tyson would probably fare better early, but I don't think he keeps getting off the canvas, so this one ends with no TKO, but the all coveted KO!
Good stuff...Tyson was a much faster starter and had better head movement and better defense in general. I could see his speed giving big George some trouble but it would only be a matter of time before Foreman got to him. Mike loves to come forward which means Foreman won't have to go looking for him...Big George by KO inside 4 or 5..
Tyson / Frazier would be more fun in my book....but we can only dream. I think a prime / peak Tyson could overcome both the Klits
Tyson would cut Vitalis eyes out. It would be a bloodier mess than Lewis-Klit. He would simply chop him down. Now that I think of it.....which fighter has Vitali ever faced who was in his prime?
Except Vitali? Tyson would shatter his jaw in a million places. If Vitali couldn't time power punches on JCG, what chance does he have of timing a prime Tyson with his bobbing & weaving? He wouldn't deal with the speed or power, there's no way, even though his chin is good, he can take combinations from Tyson's. If he stands there with his hands down and his chin out with his mouth wide open gasping for air as always, Tyson will break his jaw the first left hook he lands. And look at the leverage he's got on the right uppercut against a 6 foot 7 and a half inch tall fighter.
Prime Tyson would clean out almost all the heavyweights except for Vitali. Vitali would win by decision, too big, too long of a reach for mike to get inside on him
