beat lewis, how big a victory would it have been considered. Would the win have been underatted cos Lewis was really underated at that time or would it be like Alis win over foreman

Yeah, it would have been huge, but people would have blamed it on Lewis's glass chin and concluded that Lewis was a fraud who somehow managed to get by Holyfield in an otherwise unimportant career.

But, in real world, I can't see Tyson beating Lewis in any other way that turning to clock back at least 5 or 6 years, and more like 13 or 14 !
So, that would have been amazing in itself.

It would've been impossible... Zombie Tyson was a shot-to-****, rusty, slow, fat, lazy, lethargic rotting corpse. Importantly, his stamina was disgracefully terrible by any standards. Here is the fight he had a year prior to Lewis, which itself was a year after his fight before it, we can see that Zombie Tyson sluggishly struggled with the Obese Brian Nielsen; a lardass who needed a gift decision to win against a 48 year old Ancient Holmes. :patsch

Tyson looked bad against Nielsen, way too heavy and just looked like an old out-of-shape fighter.

But Nielsen did have a talent for taking punishment.

If he did Lewis wouldnt have fought Vitali. Then people would be saying Lewis was past it too and never very good anyway.

I think if Tyson beat Lewis right after he faced Golota it would have been huge and I dont think it would have detracted much from Lewis, because Tyson was fighting with somewhat frequency and looking fairly impressive.

Had Tyson beaten Lewis when he actually did fight him, it wouldnt have been that big of an impact on Tyson and probably a detraction on Lewis, and like someone said, it wouldnt have come from Tyson looking spectacular but probably more from a lucky shot or something. Tyson was idle and showed up in horrible shape against Nielson, was photographed smoking weed in training for Lewis in Hawaii, so it was pretty obvious he wasnt a focused fighter.

Depends...some people would have said lucky punch (which it most likely would have been) or people would say LL is overrated anyway etc
basically Tyson would get no credit
