i think haye should follow in the footsteps of holy.....fight a top 20 fighter.....then a top 15 fighter.....then a top 10 fighter.....he needs at least 3 fights as a heavyweight before fighting guys like wlad/peter.....although chaguev/haye would be interesting........holy did it right....
first he fought past prime tillis...then thomas....then dokes....stewart....rodrigues....mcdounough.............then buster......holy had
6 fights as a heavyweight before he fought buster douglas.

    1.haye vs danny williams
    2.haye vs oleg masquev
    3.haye vs andrew golota

all big guys who are past thier prime........im also curious too see how he takes a heavyweights punch,,..........but if he fought wlad right now he would get ass kicked........and im not a wlad fan.:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke

Isn't he fighting Oleg? perfect for him old guy with a lot of experience. I think that he will fight Vlad or Peter next. If he fights Vlad before he loses it is a big payday because of the hype Early spring or late winter. On the other hand he could fight Peter after Peter loses to vitali and the winner will fight Vitali because Peter will want a rematch if he loses. Peter Haye would be another big payday for him. If he beats Peter fighting a 38 yearold Vitali for alot of money would be about as good. If he happens to beat Vitali boy a fight with Vlad would be monstrous. So what does haye do take the money now or build up for a lot of big purses.

I do believe that Haye needs to stay away from Povetkin, Valuev and Boystov, all Russians valuev is too big and Povetkin and Boystov will be too tough and talented for Haye.

A fight with Thompson is an option! The big American basically has nowhere to go and has proved he will travel for a payday. Also, I think, assming he wins, Haye would do so more convincingly, helping to set things up nicely.

    Hayes vs Cris Areolla.

He wants to make a name in the division? Then don't fight the old retirable fighters.

He's got to walk the talk and fight dangerous fights to prove himself worthy of this division.

He should take Ibragimov first and knock him out, that would put the wind up the sails of all the people that said WALD did a great job when he fought him. Haye has superior speed and skills to WALD and could KO this guy easily, there'd be no pitty-pat **** either.

If Haye wants to take the long route like Holy did then I suppose Williams would be a decent start but it'd be one-sided as ****. Fraudley could be on the radar too but that wouldn't prove a lot. If I were his management I'd put him in with Ibragimov, definately.

I can't believe Haye, who calls himself the savior of the Heavyweight division doesn't have a fight scheduled!! I figured his big mouth would have landed him a fight already. He talks so much **** that he should be thrown in ring against solid competiton( Toney,Arreola,Peter,Briggs,Ibragimov) and lets see how he takes a heavyweight punch. Until then,he should keep his mouth shut, IMO.

    Holyfield.

It would make him a star. There are guys who provide much tougher fights, such as Maskaev or Ibragimov, but Holyfield would be the ideal choice. There is an obvious comparison to be made between the two, so it shouldn't be hard to gain a lot of interest. And Holyfield is still a massive star, which would give Haye much needed exposure in America.

I'm a Holyfield fan so I really don't want to see it, but it's the most logical fight at this stage.

I'd hate to see Haye fight Holyfield, unless Haye shows the same kind of compassion that Holmes showed Ali. No need to fight Evander right now, no need at all.
