How does this affect his career? I noticed someone said Molina is banned by UKAD but he’s still available to fight on this Saudi show. Whyte was “cleared” Vada/Wada (can’t remember which one) so would it mean he’s still allowed to fight in other countries just not the UK?
If they do ban him, then they'll be shooting themselves in the foot with regards to as why they let him fight Rivas in the first place. If they ban him it's cos he cheated, but they let the cheat fight when the dodgy test had already been flagged up. For that reason, I don't think he'll get banned.
The time has passed, Ukad have had months, why take so long to reach a decision. **** or get off the can. Personally i just dont care anymore, Fury got away with pissing hot, so do so many others. Whatever.
The first ban was for jack3d or some other over the counter pre workout, that was ridiculous. Nandrelone, test-e, clenbutorol, tren etc yeah ban the **** out of them, trace elements of some **** from the tesco health and fitness isle is stupidity and should be a fineable offence not a ban
Yeah, pretty much. I've been mentioning Molina as an example so maybe it's my post you saw. His ban UKAD ban ended this month I think funnily enough but he has been fighting elsewhere whilst banned. Realistically I don't think it affects his career. Hasn't done so for any of the other HW's. I've mentioned plenty that I think he's currently serving a 6 month ban with UKAD, which means he can be fighting in the UK again by Feb. Be an age before UKAD get anything out realistically.
He won’t get banned. He took a banned substance. A hypocrite like so many others. He basically said AJ was using steroids and threw him under the bus, while he was in the back room getting PED shots in his ass, and preaching for all to hear how clean he was. What a creep.
In a credible sport with effective governance, you would expect a ban under a national anti-doping authority to be adopted by all athletic commissions and governing bodies, and automatically extend across all jurisdictions. This is boxing where neither applies of course, so realistically anything could happen.
To be fair to Whyte, he should of got a verbal warning for Jack3d. I know women who use that before aerobic classes. It’s in the same bracket as pro plus and Redbull in my world. However, raised levels of Nandrolone? He’s definitely been a naughty boy and messed up with his cycle.
UKAD are responsible for testing the olympians we are sending to Tokyo next year. Whyte failed a UKAD test, if they are not willing to enforce their own testing regime and more than this, are willing to undermine it by allowing a VADA test to superceed their own, how can we send a team of athletes to represent the UK confident we can be proud of their efforts representing the country ? We fund UKAD, if they don't believe in their own testing regime, why are taxpayers paying for them to exist ?
Is this a bit like the Fury situation. Where they had evidence but something happened along the way. So they were not 100% they would win a case if they were taken to court. E.g A processes wasn't followed or a sample wasn't stored correctly or something so they didn't want to get taken to court as they couldn't afford the 250k it might cost them? It just seems really odd. Fighter fails test but can still fight and then months later he can fight abroad - that make a little bit of sense in sport as corrupt as boxing but even so why has he not been suspended officially.
Yeah it was something like that, he actually got a further month till November for sparring Parker before the Whyte fight. But he fought in february and fought twice in 2017 after getting caught
That's another elephant in the room here. Will they inform the IOC if one or more of their athletes **** hot leading up to Tokyo? Probably not, because their policy seems to be about protecting their privacy. In that case the UK isn't much better as the Russians and the US back in the 80's.
