Too many greats. It would certainly earn him a spot in the conversation but that’s it. Definitely would be the GOAT cruiserweight though, he already arguably is.
Bingo. Sucks how much nationality plays into boxing.

Wipe away those tears ladies, even if Usyk were to lose all his fights from here on or decided to hang up his gloves today he would still be the GOAT. Deal with it or get dealt with. :deal:

No but it would be a great accomplishment and a true ATG career.

Usyk would be a great champion in any era before the superheavies.
He would be a dominant champion during the so-called "golden era" of heavyweights, the 70s too.

HW boxing before 1986 is just CW boxing.

Wilder and Wallin were on the verge of stopping him. Usyk is far better on every level than either of those two, especially when it comes to accuracy, and finding ways to land the shots he needs to land. Chisora, McDermott, Pajkic, Cunningham all found a way to land the shots they needed to land. And they're literally trash skill wise compared to Usyk. You're basing all of this hype on the fact that Tyson beat Wilder. He schooled the worst boxer in this sport of boxing. Usyk is P4P perhaps the most skilled man in the sport. Please try to let that sink in a little.

No because none of them are ATG. We literally have no current potential ATG. Its not Usyk's fault, he just wasn't fighting In the right era.

But still, clearing house would be a great achievement.

Just as confident as I was when I predicted Usyk would beat AJ 6 or 7 years out.

Like I said, I'm confident.... even more so the second time around. If AJ oes al out, he gasses and getting KO'd. If he doesn't he's schooled once again.

The question was what if? I know it will require using your imagination as to an eventuality you don't foresee.

If Usyk Beat AJ Again And Then Beats Fury, and then retire undefeted; yes!
First and only CW and HW undisputed, undefeted champion.

Joshua, Breidis, and Gassiev are all potential ATG.

Joshua is a two-time united champ at 32. When Usyk and Fury retire, he will certainly pick up a third belt. There would be no precedent for not calling him an ATG.

Breidis just has an excellent record for the one division, with the tough loss being to Usyk. He is still champ, and if he unifies with Okolie and defends against Opetia, he could very well be remembered as the best cruiser to never move up (outside of Charr).

Gassiev is a 28-year old united cruiser champ. He has done the least work, but given his age, power, and style, he will almost certainly have some heavyweight success. If he picks up a title or two...I will leave it to your imagination.

Why is Dubois even in the discussion? He didn't have a good amateur career and all he has done is beat up journeymen, why not throw Lovejoy in there while you're at it?
