If or better when usyk beats fury then guys we are talking about goat status.

Fury is an atg with his dethroning of wlad and toying with wilder. He will be 50 pounds heavier than usyk. When usyk schools him then it will be a hell of a win + his wins against aj and his cruiser run.

That's plain and simple goat status

Of course, no question about it.

    Are we post-Floyd yet?

And what is your definition of a 'generation?'

Have a generation of boxers come along since we last saw Mayweather?

I don't see how he wouldn't. Usyk effectively cleaned out his division, which is a rare feat these days, and then went on to bag 2 great wins against a unified champ legitimately 20+lbs heavier than him. That's textbook P4P stuff right there

Of course, you're going to get the types who think Usyk is top 5 ever, and on the other side of the spectrum the types who thinks some 80-25-25 journeyman from the 1930s is better than him, but I can't see a rational mind denying him top 20 of all time

"His generation post Floyd" isn't really accurate. Will he be the greatest - one of the greatest, we can't compare fighters of different weight classes (and eras).

The Monster can realistically become Undisputed at 122 and 126 (if he can get the fights) and grab a title and maybe unify at 130 to finish his career.

That would be 6 divisions and 3 Undisputed Titles. Inoue would be the GOAT.

    Is that your effort?

Usyk is a donkey pal. He can’t box for toffee and you think that he’s an all time great. Have you never seen him boxing?

First off I don't rate Fury as an "ATG" his resume is far too thin. For me hes rated on a similar level to Riddick Bowe, so if Usyk were to beat him based on the size difference it would be a fantastic win, but theres other ATG's of the past that have much more longevity and a handful of wins over ATGs. So I'm not sure where I would rate Usyk exactly, but theres fighters like Inoue right now who's moving up and has a big fight. And probably has alot more left in his career than Usyk, where he possibly could over take Usyk based on more filler on his record and longevity.

I would say so, although I’m not sure Floyd and Usyk are really different generations (and yes I do realize that Floyd is technically Gen X and Usyk a millennial). Who else in the past several decades has been undisputed in multiple weight classes? No one that I’m aware of (not including women). Plus the jump from cruiserweight to heavyweight is a pretty big one; it’s a lot harder than a guy going from 115 to 118. Usyk is also doing this at a pretty advanced age too. He didn’t turn pro at 18 and then fight about 20 cab drivers over the next 5 years to build his record up. Pretty much everyone on his record is a legit guy.

Interesting that this fight isn't signed yet. Fury realizes that the demand for this fight really isn't that great. Francis Nganou vs Fury must be next up.

I'd still like him to beat Wilder before we go and crown his a**

    But yeah, sure..why not ?

Id rate him above Alvarez, although tbh as good as his CW stint was, I feel it to be a tad overrated.

Glowacki for example was recently exposed. Bellew was a part time movie star, he never faced Haye, and Hucks been a bit of a hype train since his inception

If it goes the distance anything could happen. I wouldn't shocked by a draw like Wilder 1. Lot's of money to be made.
I don't see Usyk getting a KO. Fury could get a KO if he wears Usyk out. In which case the fight could get ugly for a while.
Fury will take this fight seriously and has plenty tools to get the job done. And he is waaaaaay bigger.
    Odds are with Fury.
