If Usyk defeats AJ again & beats Fury after, it could be the greatest achievement in boxing history?

Does anyone else agree? The fact that a cruiserweight, coming up to heavyweight late in his career, defeats the top 2 heavyweights even at such a height and weight disadvantage would be one of the, if not, the most impressive thing I've ever seen a boxer do in history.

Pacquiao came up from Flyweight and walked straight through Miguel Cotto...

But yes, it would certainly be a great achievement for Usyk.

If usyk becomes undisputed at heavy and beats joshua twice and fury once, then he clearly an atg heavy (top 5). Small guy who beats the skilled giants, this never happened before

Considering he beat them In their own back yard 110%. What an amazing achievement.

I don't know about the greatest EVER but it would be a very important feat in HW history. It would elevate
Usyk into the HOF immediately, this combined with his CW acheivements.

It would definitely be up there considering he will have achieved all of his title wins from CW on up thru HW fighting in his opponents backyards.

No, but it would put him in the uber elite with Ali, Louis, Robinson, Armstrong, Greb, etc.

The man could say that he defeated seven champions in two divisions, including the unlimited heavyweight class, in their backyards, leaving no evidence that he himself can be beaten. That would be pretty special.

Holyfield was undefeated, undisputed Cruiser champ. Moved up & one punch kayoed the undisputed Heavyweight champ who had dethroned the baddest man on the planet. The WBO belt didn't count in those days.

Also Holy was a Light Heavy at amateur level, rather than a 200lb heavyweight like Usyk.

Impressive stuff from Usyk so far, but he's yet to prove he's the one true heavyweight champ. He's another two fights at best away from that.

And if he does, he equals what Holyfield did. He doesn't best it.

Not the greatest achievement in boxing history, but that's because boxing history is a long and impressive story.

I disagree. If you are just including the Douglas win then AJx 2 and Fury would easily trump that. If it's the whole career you are talking about you have to factor in all the losses.

Holyfield already did it. Undisputed at cruiser & heavy. Lost heavy belts to Bowe and regains. Lost again to Mike Moorer but back again to win with Tyson twice and revenge Moorer. & Wins against other top heavyweights. Great achievements but not best in boxing history.

Hank Armstrong probably. Holder of Feather & Light & Welterweight champion undisputed versions at the same time.

Er it would be a great achievement but there's a few steps before we get there. The greatest?
Nah. boxing history is rich with many achieving what seemed impossible feats and it would rank amongst them but not greater.
