WBO has ordered Usyk vs Parker to be held next and Warren is saying they will announce Dubois next move in a few weeks. So, with Usyk vs Dubois II seems unlikely for now who do you THINK Dubois will fight next and who do you WANT him to fight?

I think AJ rematch is the likeliest option, however there are some other (bold) possibilities like Okolie (who just pulled out of Riakpore fight), Wardley, Chisora or even Itauma assuming his team really wants him to risk trying to break Mike Tyson record. I would love to watch Dubois vs Kabayel next and hope Turki does too. Because it's the only case in which we can see this fight next. But of Turki wants it we will get it

I’m guessing Chisora? I thought Wallin v Chizzy was a final eliminator for the IBF (according to Warren lol)

You thought wrong, and Warren never said that. It was an eliminator, but not a final eliminator.

E-Hearn really wants to make Dubois vs AJ II

    Usyk vs J-Park

    Dubois vs AJ II

If J-Park beats Usyk they can do a rematch

If AJ beats Dubois they can have a rubber match

If Dubois beats AJ they can both go kick rocks

And if Usyk beats J-Park he can do whatever the goddamn hell he wants :deal:

I think it's interesting because potentially Usyk still has enough left to beat Dubois, Parker and Kabayel before sailing off into the sunset as the best of his generation, and a fighter who straddled two generation, as Dubois certainly is 'next gen'. I think Dubois is now a genuine 50/50 fight and edge towards him now, but i think Usyk comfortable beats the other two.

Can the IBF make a mandatory for him to fight, or do they need to win a mandatory eliminator? IBF is pretty strict with their rules, but if Dubois can get his mandatory out of the way that leaves him free for a year or so.

The mandatory needs to be fought for first.

Dubois will get AJ or Chisora. Frank has already said DDD's next fight will be in the UK.

I am more interested in who Kabayel will fight next if Parker, Usyk, Dubois and AJ are locked up. Winner of Ajagba/Bakole?

The more I think about it the more likely Chisora fight looks to be next for Dubois. IBF will likely make Derek his mandatory even without him winning final eliminator like they did with Austin for Wlad or Briedis for Opetaia rematch.

Chisora is popular fighter and not a dangerous option. Clearly less dangerous than Kabayel.

However, I think there is a good chance Dubois fights Chisora in June or July and then Kabayel in December. Because Usyk won't fight Parker until September at least.

It will be AJ if it isn't Usyk
Maybe Fury crawls out from under the bed??

If Usyk fights Parker, then I would probably expect Dubois to fight Kabayel as Kabayel is a serious contender and will have to be fought at somepoint by one of the big dogs.

AJ possible as he brings money to the table. Chisora is also very high in IBF rankings so that might fulfil a mandatory - also Dubois might see Chisora as a bit of an easy nights work, money would be better than Kabayel too.

Ideally it'd be Kabayel. Parker, Dubois and Kabayel are the three guys with the best streaks at heavyweight right now. If Usyk is taking on one, the other two should take on each other to determine who gets the opportunity of fighting for all the marbles, before they are all likely scattered upon Usyk's retirement.

Realistically though? Probably a rematch with AJ or a fight with Chisora. Frank Warren has confirmed it'll be a "big fight" in the UK, and those are the two big names there at heavyweight right now. Other than Tyson Fury, though I don't really see Fury fighting anyone but AJ at this point, but that's another conversation. Not crazy about either option personally, since while I don't have anything against Dubois, I kinda want him to lose the IBF title to someone in the meantime to avoid one of Usyk's last bouts being yet another rematch, and he's already beaten all four of these guys so any way you cut it we'd end up in the same situation.

...And my personal wish is Zhang so he can maybe pull the upset and I can see my dark horse dream fight of him and Usyk in the ring together. Yes I know how it would go and I don't care, I still wanna see it, and yes I know it's incredibly unlikely because Frank Warren already had his Zhang upset experience. Let me dream damn it. I'm not giving up on it til Zhang or Usyk have retired. Or died. And I ain't swearing I'll give up on it then either
