Perfect scenario would be Usyk-Parker in Ukraine and Dubois-Chisora in the UK. Winners face off in the end of the year.
Would be great but i do not believe this . There is a risk dubois looses and kabayel gets the belt . This would mean usyk has to fight against kabayel for the undisputed and this is something usyk wants to avoid at any costs . In fact i personally think dubois will not fight anybody to avoid the risk he looses the belt
With the last minute illness and Dubois' radio silence, I get the feeling he may be crashing out. The guy has had an unusual upbringing and been under his dad's thumb his whole life to try and become a successful athlete. He found that success when he got the world title and beat Joshua so maybe he is reevaluating his life having achieved it. He apparently had a short camp and looked a bit out of shape for Dubois, I wouldn't be surprised if he is enjoying his success a bit, not to the extent of Andy Ruiz or Tyson Fury but still not as much focus or fire. This is all speculation on my part, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't end up fighting anyone and just holding on for the Usyk fight or waiting for his mandatory challenger to be called.
In all likelihood he'll sit out and wait to fight the winner of Usyk-Parker. I'd like to see him fight Kabayel in the meantime, though.
I doubt Frank Warren puts DD in with Kabayel... If he still entitled to a voluntary after pulling out v Parker I expect him to have a tick over look good fight v a mid ranked low threat fighter. They pulled him from the Parker fight for a reason - not just a runny nose
Kabayel is the fight fans want to see. Joshua rematch is a strong option. Chisora, Dillian White, Joyce if he wins, are possibilities.
