If Usyk retired today, where would he rank all time P4P and at HW?

H2H top 10-15. Accomplishments are another story. As much as I like Usyk, I can't rate a fighter with less than 10 fights in the divisions anywhere near the top 30.

If he fought more regularly I would notch him up even farther, but then again he could also have losses

I think your rating are very good. His wins at heavy are quality, but not enough of them to crack top 10

If he beats Fury again and hangs around at Hw? then he could crack the top 10 and maybe move up a few spots p4p, but good ranking

    Goat at cruiserweight
And imo top 5 h2h at heavy. He beat aj who would be top 5 in any era imo and tyson fury who could have been champ in almost every era (lewis, ali, Holmes, prime wlad were the only ones I would have favored over fury).

Usyk is a certified atg p4p imo

When he beat Fury I was calling him number 1 of all time. Now I'm not so sure.

P4P I'd argue he's the best to ever do it, but others did it for longer, more often and against better opposition so I have to take that into consideration.

I'd call him the best fighter of the modern era though and he always did it as the B side. I think I'd confidently put him higher than Pac and Floyd so I'm looking at the top 20 somewhere.

He's the number 1 CW for me without question.

As for HW, he is above Rocky, Dempsey, Holyfield, Bowen, Fury, AJ, Wlad and Vitali without doubt.

I can't justify him above Ali, Louis and Lewis.

I think I could argue him somewhere around Foreman/Tyson/Frazier level.

If Usyk retired now, he'd be looked at similarly all-time to Gene Tunney at heavyweight.

    But, he isn't retiring now.

    Time will tell.

If he loses badly to Fury in the rematch, he may be viewed more like Michael Spinks.

If he goes back down to cruiserweight, as he's alluded to, after the Fury rematch, and he loses fight 2 to Fury AND loses as an older guy at cruiserweight, not very highly.

If he beats Fury again, and makes a handful of defenses at heavyweight, he could be right up there with the best ever.

Like someone else mentioned, it's difficult because he hasn't had many heavyweight fights, and he doesn't blow people out in fights. Fury, Joshua and Chisora all got their five rounds.

Still, he's notching the wins, regardless of how they come or how close they may be.

It would be nice if he hit harder. Can't make much of a highlight reel out of his heavyweight fights. It's all fairly workmanlike.

Usyk vs AJ I and II were 9-3, 8-4 kind of fights

Usyk vs Belly was an 8-4 type of fight too. 7-5 with the KD if you want to be really kind to Belly who FTR would've been KTFO if not for the ref saving his bacon

The only really genuinely close fight Usyk has had was Briedis and Usyk had been past his prime for years

No amount of revisionist spin, sour grapes or shedding of baba tears is going to change the fact that Usyk is indeed the GOAT

The haters and the dinosaur worshiping rose-tinted boxing nostalgists need to bow down to the King and acknowledge his greatness.

Boxing is no longer a regional sport and Usyk is not only the greatest fighter of this generation, both in and out of the ring, but everything he has achieved has been achieved the hard, righteous and honourable way

    God tier

Almost everyone agrees that he is the GOAT cruiser and Somewhere in the top 30 PfP.

I am going to say again, and again and again, I count his cruiserweight fights towards his heavyweight legacy, and I don't care who disagree. The excellent cruiserweight champions that he beat are bigger than a lot of the heavies of the past, and certainly better opponents than Lorenzo Zanon, Scott Ledoux, Francesco Pianeta, Johnny Davis, Freddie Beshore, and any number of other scrub title defenses.

And it is a courtesy we have always extended even the best of champs. Billy Conn is generally considered Louis' 3rd or 4th best defense, and weighed 174 pound for the fight with the bomber. Ketchel and Langford are two of Jack Johnson's best fights.

Oh, and Usyk beat two of the most capable super-heavies ever in three fights.

I say If Usyk retired today, he would be somewhere in the top ten heavies. Suck it haters.

The discussion is about heavyweight not cruiserweight, so his only relevant fights would be who he faced as a heavyweight if you're talking about HW legacy.

Saying that, I would put him in the top 15 until he has some more fights. He's 100% the CW GOAT, just needs to do a touch more at heavy.

IMO it all depends on what you favour and how you might 'assign points' if you will...

+ Some folks favour H2H hypotheticals
+ Some folks favour resume with number of ATGs/HOF/champs faced
+ Some folks will weight things accordingly with special achievments (e.g. Undisputed Cruiser & Undisputed Heavy, both 1st in 4-b3lt era)

Personally, I have Usyk as GOAT cruiser, and top 20/15 heavyweight when all is said and done, and top 10 p4p.

It's generally said that Cruiser > Heavy is the hardest jump to make, and he did it as a road-warrior B-Side in nearly every fight, and did got Undisputed in both. Regardless of what anyone says about the current suite of heavyweights, that's an INSANE achievement.

H2H & P4P Usyk is a hard night's work for any boxer in any division, and even post-prime he shows much of the skillset that makes him a tough matchup, and desrving of at least being in the discussion with names like Robinsion, Leonard, Duran & Ali.

So far, the ONLY asterisk against Usyk is the 'low-blow' controversy against Dubois (it was low!), and somehow still questions on whether he is 'soft' to the body.

If Usyk retired today, rating him at heavyweight is a mighty tricky proposition.

Opinions would probably vary wildly in subsequent years.
