I think he has a strong claim to being the greatest cruiserweight ever. The division is probably at its strongest ever, Breides, Lebedev, Gassiev. If he could beat all 3 and unify that would be a serious acheivement having already beaten hunter ,glowacki and mchunu

I like Usyk a lot, but can we please tone it down a bit... He still has a lot of fights to win and a lot to prove in the ring, before we even consider him an ATG, let alone "best ever".

tbh it would not take much to become the best ever at cruiser, no one has a very deep record there, the divison for most of its history was very weak too. Now the division is read hot, probably the hottest in boxing and theres tons of great fights, its not too soon talk about him becoming the best cruiser ever, he is maybe 3 fights away from having a great claim to it

He didn't use steroids at cruiserweight as far as i know , he used them to bulk up for the heavyweight division
and the most heavyweight fighters were on steroids in the 90s , see Mike Tyson for example.

Usyk is clearly not as good as he was hyped to be.
Having Russ Amber as his trainer certainly wont help his status

Then the whole careers of Mike Tyson , Frank Bruno and Shane Mosley should be wiped from the record books
as well and there are a lot of more fighters who used steroids , they're only the most obvious ones.

    Its a possibility
He is off to a very good start in his career already and the division is competitive.

yup he's last 3 wins have been great quality, hunter was a very good tricky fighter who he battered, that south african is seriously awkward and glow was a top class fighter

but americans have no idea about the cruiserweight division so they write it off, usyk is already pushing p4p top 10

Division was underrated and deep with Holyfield as well. Qawi was an ATG CW. So, I don't see him matching Holyfield, but it IS deep, and DOESN'T get unified much. So yes, he does that and I think he'd have as good an argument for 2 as anyone in CW history.

Mike Tyson didn't admit to use steroids , but he admitted that he used a fake ***** to pass drug tests , you only
need to look at his physique , 220 pounds of lean muscle mass at 5 ft. 10 is not possible naturally.

Also he was very aggressive at his fighting days in and outside of the ring , this could be a side effect of his
    steroid use.

Don't know about Mayweather using steroids though.
