....Meaning Wlad would just be the gatekeeper of the heavy weight division, while Vitali is the true champ at heavyweight, Haye would most likely retire. But then again wouldn't Vitali get stripped for not wanting to fight Wlad (#1 contender let's say) then what?! Gentlemen........ DISCUSS!!!!!!!!!!!
This is why I like the fight, 'IF' Haye wins, he will probably fight Vitali and we can have a proper champ, Vitali won't ever fight Wlad so Wlad can't get a belt until Vitali loses them to another guy and Wlad fights that guy.
It'd a complete role reversal for him and wlad that's for sure! What a way for vitali to finish his career tho, legendary stuff ruling a division at his age.
Just imagine this... Haye upsets Wlad by KO. Vitali brutally batters Haye & gets revenge for his younger brother* *Would have to be before October, so Vitali would have to cancel & delay his defense against Adamek, so he can fight Haye before Haye retires. Lewis comes out of retirement & has tune-ups against Fury, Dimitrenko & Helenius in 2012. Lewis-Vitali II for the undisputed Heavyweight championship in early 2013! I can only dream.
Could be interesting. Vitali has been looking a bit ordinary recently Hes still a beast though that stops almost anything in boxing today
I can see Vitali maybe having 1 farewell fight in a huge arena maybe in the Ukraine defending the Undisputed status, then retiring allowing Wlad to pick up the titles once more and dominate
Would make for a good fairy tale ending to a brilliant career, but it is exactly that, a fairy tale. I do hope Haye remains after this fight with Wlad, but chances are he realizes his limitations and Vitali will batter him far worse than Wlad will so......... probably never get to see that one.
