Haye will be a miniscule footnote in the heavweight division, so no one will give a damn. we also all know how finnicky haye is when it comes to agreeing to anything so its not at all clear who's ducking who and whether haye is even serious about fighting vitali. in the end, it will be filed under no one gives a damn.

lol ok.and haye and booth didnt sit down and say at a press conference and say they had an offer from k2 but it wasnt right so they fought chisora..and haye and booth both also didnt say haye wouldnt be ready to fight vitali untill 2013..im making this up it didnt happen..haye also didnt choose not to fight vitali on another 2 occasions either that didnt happen either..just like haye has never been knocked down or stopped as a pro or amature and has a record of 198 - 0 with 197 kayos and a points win over the great snv...haye also dosnt need to fight all the other contenders because he would beat them...infact haye would beat vitali so why fight??

haye is the peoples wbc hw champion no need to win it in the ring.we his fans already know he would beat vitali anyway...:rasta

Haye's legacy isn't so great, and he wouldn't be talked about H2H in the same way Vitali is by some.

In essence Haye won't be talked about in 20 years much as things stand as he hasn't really done enough, and hasnt beat either of the two dominant champions of the era.

However, having said that Vitali's record really is missing big marquee names and avoiding Haye now could tarnish how people view him in the future. If only because it is quite a weak era and Haye's the best he could now fight IMO.

I also think from Haye's side this fight is more likely than ever, especially seeing as he obviously does want out of Boxing relatively early. Meaning if Vitali asked for options he could take them and then simply retire after the Klit fight.

Hayes boxing achievements out weigh Vit's. I'm not a Haye nut-thugger, just a realist with no agenda like 90% of people on here.

Two weight champion, unified Cruiser weight, which at the time was a competitive div. He's always traveled to champions back gardens, and defeated them.

In my eyes the 2nd best cruiser weight of all time.

Vitali - relied upon his size, fought no body in a division that's been dead in years.

What he will be remember for....his loss to Lenox.

In twenty years time, your not going to be saying, OH REMEMBER THAT AMAZING FIGHT HE HAD WITH MANUAL CHARR....or SOSNOWSKI....

Every one talks about Haye making money from a naive British public, selling them a dream fight, which is true, but Vitali is making good money from fighting fat tomato cans and bus drivers.

Would any of Vitali's opponents have been title contenders in decades that becoming HW champion was something to generally be proud of..

Under lying factor, if Klit's weren't in the HW division, Haye would have made a very good impression, he'd have been knocking out the likes of Arrerola's and Ademek's of this world, and he'd of achieved much greater things than he has.

My thoughts exactly, vitali needs to fight somebody who might actually have a shot a beating him and what would be an intresting fight.

    Haye ducked him twice.

Other than money Haye's "legacy" is pure dog ****. Vit has beat better fighters already.

    David is a nobody.
