It's inevitable CHEF...there can only be one real champion....WLAD better get used to it, if he's gonna have big brother hanging around the division again.
I think Vitali IS the superior force in the division, and I think he'll make Peter look like a clubfighter on Oct 11th. But that said, even if this does happen, I don't think Vitali's win over Peter, even if its very decisive and absolute, will necessarily eclipse the string of recent impressive KO's his brother has accumulated. Brock, Byrd, Austin, Thompson..........all fell and fell hard. He also hammered Brewster in the rematch, and beat Sultan Ibragimov in every round of that fight. I think Vitali's hammering of Sammy Peter will be a start to showing he's better than his brother (cause he is better, as an overall fighter), but its gonna take a couple of more impressive wins for Vitali to eclipse the body of work that Wlad has amassed during Vitali's down time. Here's hoping for Vitali / Valuev, or Vitali / Chagaev, etc. in the coming year. More credible opponents for Vitali to further establish himself, so as to re-remind everyone just who THE MAN is, once again.
All VITKLIT needs to do is win a decision and not get KD three times, and WLAD's superiority will be questioned/
Vitali on his prime its no match for peter..but he's been out for 4 yrs with injures and politics...we dont know how ready he is..and peter is not Ali but definetly a solid HW. my heart with vitale..my money with peter.
Other than Wlad Klitschko, Samuel Peter is the next best Heavyweight out there, So if Vitali does win yes its impressive, and he is right up there with his brother. You peter HATERS who have said that Peter is and over rated bum, if Vitali wins you know in your statement that means Vitali beat a bum, hence you should not be giving any credit to Vitali if he wins, WHy? becuase you yourself called Peter a over rated bum. Do not be a hypocrite regarding the issue, if that is what you beleive do not come back here after the fight if Vitali wins saying Vitali is the best thing since sliced bread.
He should get good credit for it. He's coming back after 4 years of inactivity and injuries to beat the consensus #2 heavy in the world. You'd have to be a die hard hater to not give him props.
Thats has yet to be seen Heavy, though as I said, if Peter gets dominated by a 4 year inactive Vitali, it will prove to me Vitali is easily the best heavyweight in the world, and Wlad might of been blessed with the physical abilities, Vitali certainly owns Wlad when it comes to mental strength and toughness. I cant wait to see the fight, and yes, it will be a war early on.:thumbsup
It'll be a major accomplishment for Vitali, coming off a long layoff and winning a HW title in his first fight back, especially if he does so in dominant fashion like a TKO win, which I think will happen.
