I think the fact he came back after injuries plagued him says more because he still didnt lose . Safe to say he defeats any active boxer had he not retired the 4 years . Taking 4 years off took away some his skills but prolonged his career.
He probably wins another 6 fights. The trouble Vitali had is both Haye and Valuev withdrew from fight offers. So we can't count on them. So let's say in 2005 he fights Toney. Nah, Toney passed on Wlad with a belt to fight for less vs a no-name.
