What if Vitali didn't retire for 4 years after the Williams fight? How different is his career?

I think the fact he came back after injuries plagued him says more because he still didnt lose . Safe to say he defeats any active boxer had he not retired the 4 years . Taking 4 years off took away some his skills but prolonged his career.

He probably wins another 6 fights.

The trouble Vitali had is both Haye and Valuev withdrew from fight offers. So we can't count on them.

So let's say in 2005 he fights Toney. Nah, Toney passed on Wlad with a belt to fight for less vs a no-name.

I'll list what I think were makeable fights

    2005 has Rahman and TBA
    2006 Maskeav and TBA
    2007 Virichs or Byrd

A better resume, but it takes away from an all time come back, out of the ring for 4 years, and winning back his title with no warm up fight.
