followed by a right over and over I believe he might be in trouble if he fought David Tua,a win is a win I guess, good thing he's 6'7.:rasta
Does the name Robert Hawkins tell you anything? Tua barely scored a point victory over Hawkins in one of his last fights. Virchis brutally knocked aforementioned Hawkins out in one of Hawkins' following fights. Tua 's firepower is totally overrated IMO.
Tua landed numerous left hooks on Lewis and never even wobbled him. Those hooks - if thrown against a much taller man - lose a lot of their power because of the difference in height.
This is a very true statement. Notice how Tua throws his hook- Not alot of his leg into it, but very much thrown from his hips and straight horizontally across his body. Anytime Tua has had to throw his hook 6 more inches up, the results suddenly became a ton less devastating, because it becomes much more of an arm strike.
All these newbies coming up with these outlandish stories. Tua.... Pfft... Tua is good, but come on....
Vital won tonight but he not only looked ackward , he looked very predictable, even if effective from the pressuring Aerreola.
Overrated? Ask Ruiz (who Tua ko in 10 seconds in the first round and still the only man to ko Ruiz), Rahman (Who Tua tko for the first time), Maskaev (When he wasn't old), Oquendo (Who was undefeated until he got stopped by Tua. The same Oquendo who easily got robbed in the Bryd, Toney fights) If Tua firepower is overrated.
It never bother Lewis cause Lewis keep putting his right guard up very high in which is the smart thing to do. Lewis knew Tua favorite punch is the powerful left hook.
Damm so many Tua fans here, for God sake Tua is done, Look for other fighter that at least have a chance against Vitaly, Tua would get stopped by the ref after eating so many jabs in his face, Tua chin is granite so He won't go down.
Tua is not the same fighter in which is why you don't see me type Tua right now has a chance vs Vitali. Whyelse i post many replys about Tua vs Arreola? I knew Vitali will easily destroyed Arreola but i was praying and hoping i'm wrong cause style makes fights and Arreola style fits perfect for Tua even Tua of right now. Thats why i wanted Arreola to some how some way to tko Vitali so Arreola vs Tua could some how down the road happen and i would have bet my money on Tua to ko Arreola in a slugfist.
You sound like my old man, avid Klit hater who complains about their competition and bringing up old names of guys who were prime 10,15 or 20 years ago My old man still believes Tyson would KO either Klit and I had to explain to him that Vitali demolished the bum Williams that KOed a shot Tyson, 4 years ago. Dude just does not understand that they ARE fighting the best guys in the division and that its nearly 2010: all the guys who were top in the 1990s are shot or retired now.
Tua's firepower is anything but. If anybodies power is over-rated on here it's Vitali's. Arreola's been dropped before, even by C level Travis Walker; Vitali hit him with plenty of solid punches and he stood up to them. Then there's Sam Peter, Jameel McCline had him tasting the canvas 3 times - Vitali hit him with everything and the kitchen sink and never dropped Peter nor really ever hurt him.
