I believe Tyson was done after the Carl Williams fight. He felt by this time that he no longer had to put in the work. And along with major changes in the management and promo team, things were a lot less disciplined. Mike had kinda lost it emotionally. His corner in the Douglas fight told the story. No focus or organization. No real cutman and a balloon filled with warm water for Ice. Mike was no longer a student of boxing at this point. Little did he know he was becoming just an entertainer. He really did KO Douglass but a sleeping referee missed a 12 second count when Buster was floored. by the time Vitali came along Mike was already done. His BI-Polar disease had already taken over. You can't do meds a train or ol Cus would've nipped this in the bud a long time ago. Cus was looking to raise a HW Champ not a well adjusted balanced individual and this was the demise of Mike. From the begining.

Nah, Tyson was done. His legs and stamina were mostly gone. He was easy to hit.
