Haven't seen that pic for ages, didn't that used to be Kurgens avatar or something? It was always a very welcome addition to Klit threads, and still is in fact :good

    who had it 3-3?

the only score that matters is 4-2 which is what all 3 judges had it.

    Lederman had it 3-3.

    None of the scores matter.

Lewis stopped Vitali on cuts, from a legal punch.

No Vitali was dominating the fight and the cut just appeared there!!!!!

He may not be that good at winning fights but he is so good at winning rounds he obviously could of been best ever

Not at that record there, hardly any real big names that stand out, when you look at it, the only way we would know is if he continued and who he fought since, but that isnt the case his biggest win is over Corrie Sanders.
I mean honestly he won a legit title the WBC in fighting Sanders its just too hard to say but to be honest with you the way I look at it, Vitali is not even close to the likes of Holyfield and Lewis.

What about Vitali vs. Mike Weaver?

Weaver had the better wins and his losing performance against a great fighter was better (he gave a PRIME Holmes hell), but who wins head to head?

People ride Lewis like he was the greatest thing since sliced bread yet considering his major wins are over a very old Tyson and one clear win one clear loss to an old Holyfield - I don't see how he can be rated. If you think Vitali couldn't beat Morrison, Bowe, Briggs or Bruno you're bloody well delusional!

People also forget Lewis had problems with any boxer his own size. I remember this one match with this eastern european with a mohican, the fight went 12 rounds and this was against a no one, Lewis looked very poor.

And that pawing jab...wtf! People ride Wlad over his jab well those people need to go watch either match with Holyfield and you'll see Lewis doing exactly the same thing!!!!!!!! Even with the hugging when Holyfield was close!!!!!! Yes, the legend! Pawing and hugging! ohhhhhhhhh.

Lewis was constantly looked down upon in his time, constantly being told he was untested & only when he retired did all these fans suddenly acknowledge him - the exact same things were said about Lewis as are being said bout Wlad now only I don't rate Wlad anywhere near the lofty heights I rate his brother Vitali. You think if Steward has trained Vitali he wouldn't have been even better than he was? Well? think about it, go on..........

  12. P.S. Oh yeah and Vitali never got bitched by two boxers like McCall & Rahman who's only real claim to fame was being big with stupid 80's moniker names. 'The Rock' - oh please! HOW did he get that name? Scary it may sound but a rock that ****er was anything but! More like Hasim 'Brittle' Rahman! The day Vitali gets put down by a punk then you can bash him. He overcome every obstacle that was asked from him (And chased those who ran!) only a cut and an injury in a fight he was creaming prevented him from having a 100% record and you know it. :deal

Yeah, he really struggled with Mike Grant.

By "no one with a mohican", I assume you mean undefeated European Champion Zjelko Mavrovic? The guy who was 27-0, and was handed his only career loss by Lennox?

Both Rahman and McCall achieved as much as Vitali in terms of titles. In fact "Brittle" Rahman had more successful title defenses than Vitali.

  15. 'Brittle' Rahman got KO'd twice by Maskaev and once by Lewis....in 4! Vitali was stopped in 6 by a cut, a technicality, in a fight many saw him winning. :D
